You should get around a 460MHz core and 1.2GHz for memory.

Thanx Miyagi for the info and the link, very useful !!

do it a 5mhz increments, but i wouldnt go far on the stock cooler, go get an artic cooler first SERIOUSLY. if you can watercool.

I really want to get in to water cooling, but since Aquagate

does not look that good for OC im going to wait for the 2005

versions to come out(i hear there will be 3 to choose from) :P

Cant wait and i hope to god there will be a black version.

Just an up date.

I first ran it at 460MHz core and 1.2GHz for memory and it was unstable

so i lowered the core to 450MHz and its now stable. Not a huge gain on

FPS just about 4 to 6 on HL2, but i do run it at 1920x1200 which is big rez.

Anyway thanx guys for the help.

hey Osiris hows your temps, and benchmark before and after overclocking, mine went from 57 down to 46 with new watercooling setup, oc at core 439 and memory 1.13, black aquagate would really look cool in your stacker!!! still got room?

Hey CooL Blooded.

Here are my stock temps >50c to 65c

O/C temps >51c to 72c <445 core 1.2 memory

I was going to get the aquagate but it seams its not so good for o/c

and theres no block for the video card ,,well at least not yet,,so i have

decided to wait for the 2005 water cooling line from CM to come out, and from

what i gather there will be 3 new water solutions to choose from, which will

be much better.

BTW nice temps, i cant wait to get my water cooling going.

Hey Osiris,

I have the Leadtek 6800GT and if you take a look at this card, you'll notice how putting a fan card underneath it might not blow enough air on it since the whole thing's closed in that plastic enclosure.

But the truth is that the fan card in close proximity actually helps. It doesn't look that way, it even look like it'd block the stock air flow but it didn't. Before I installed a fan card, the idle temp was 55C and load was 70C. With fan card, idle is 49C and load is 55. Hope it helps with your OC.
