Hyper 6 cooler doesn't mount to IWILL DK8N dual Opteron bd.

Cooler Master hyper 6 heatpipe coolers do not mount to an IWILL DK8N dual Opteron motherboard.

To use this cooler... you have to use the mounting hardware provided with the cooler kit...

The stub feet at the corner holes for the P4 style mounting hit resistors on this motherboard and will not mount flush...

That's it...

I wished I had time for a fix, but don't, so I'm reaching for my dremel "ALREADY?"... Good grief

i think your meant to use the 2 large screws on it not the 4 small ones flip the backplate and try again, if your talking about the retention module, cut it, thats what i did.

No... It's just as I said above...

How would you know what I'm talking about anyway when you're using P4?

The P4 corner mounting feet still function as support at the corners for the plastic retainer when using the 2 long screws in the center for opteron installs. (at least that's what the intent was in the design of the retainer)... And well,... they hit all kinds of resistors with this motherboard.
