I've modified the original concept case to reflect the theme of this Prawn weapon from the movie. The case will have reinforced panels and Orange/Black/White color scheme. One of the easiest steps to fit this theme was replacing the OEM handle on the Cooler Master 840 motherboard tray with machined aluminum handle. I had one spare handle left over from our previous stock. The new version has been revised with rounded finger grips, as shown here, http://www.mnpctech.com/MnpctechBilleth ... ooved.html

I've decided to make it 100% Prawn. Imagine it was built with parts Christopher salvaged from the Mother ship and around District 9. The MNU warning sign with the prawn design will clue-in people to the theme.

Cooler Master only sent 1 hard drive, so no sense in keeping the HD bay!

Use 1/8" drill bit to remove HD bay

Thats awesome, thanks for posting! I can't wait till it's on DVD.

1/4" thick acrylic sheets will act as reinforced segments of the side panels.

Starting on other side tonight, this side still needs exploded hole, and I need to get more 1/4" socket head screws. Those will be countersunk

I used the Dremel with a cutting wheel to emulate impact to the reinforcement panel.

Using Dremel with egraving bit to gouge the other bullet hole under the acrylic. A ventilation hole was added as well.

Round Modders Mesh used as the ventilation grill in the left side panel.

Scotch Weld DP-190 2 part epoxy is used to attach the Modders Mesh to the backside of the side panel

Mwhahahah. I love cutting nasty holes in a nice computer cases.

Something exploded in Christopher's computer at one time. He never bothered fixing the hole.
