In addition to the all black interior (like the 690 II Advanced), I would also like to see the same latching mechanism for the 5.25 drives as the 690 II Advanced.

I am a big fan of beautiful cases.

There is nothing worse than an ugly beige box sitting on your desk or a case that looks like a tribute to the old Robotec Japanese animated TV show. But it amazes me how butt ugly cases like the Antec 900 have become so popular lately. I am glad that beautiful “classic†cases like the Cooler Master ATCS 840 and Obsidian 700D/800D are making a comeback.

However, it has been VERY FRUSTRATING to me that manufacturers do not make cases with doors or provide a variant design with a door. No matter how beautiful a cases is once you add an optical drive to one of the drive bays the case just loses most of its luster.

Today I still use the beautifully designed but VERY OLD Cooler Master Wave Master TAC-T01 for that main reason. In all these years it is still one of the most beautiful cases I have ever seen and it conceals those unsightly optical drives (and 3 ¼ floppy drives), leaving only elegant brushed aluminum in sight.

Add a door Cooler Master!

I just got my case i love it so far.But there is two things that bug me like the cd drive bays are only tool less on one side and i had to throw a screw in my dvd drive to keep it from moving. Is it me or do you have to pull out the motherboard tray to add any pci e or pci cards?

I'm looking to paint the inside of mine matte black. Can I just use spray paint or do I have to sand and use a primer? Will it make that big of a difference? Has anyone tried just using spray paint?

I will need to connect one of the chassis fans to the pwr_on connector on my Asus P6T Deluxe V2 and was wondering which one it should be. Haven't yet gotten into my new build so this question may answer itself once I start but thought I would ask anyway.

Thanks

Damn, I've seen the first one all over the web but not the last two. Three CPUs in the second rig? That's crazy. Very nice job, you're one of the very best case modders out there.

Here is my ATCS 840 side panel mod. I'm using two Thermalright FDB 120mm x 25mm intake fans (2000 RPM/80.5 CFM/38 DBA).
