Cosmos 1000 power wiring doesn't work

Recommended Posts

I just finished building my pc and when I plug it in and turn on the power supply the board lights up showing it's receiving power but when I push the case power button nothing happens. It won't power up. I double checked all connections including the panel connections. Is there a way to tell if the case panel is at fault? Since the motherboard shows it's getting power I don't think that's the problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Here's my setup:

Motherboard: Asus Maximus II Formula

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E8500

Memory: 2 gigs G.Skill DDR2

Video Card: EVGA GeForce 9600GT

Power Supply: PC Power & Cooling 750 Silencer

Does the Maximus II have a CLR CMOS button? If so, press that, and then try to boot.

So far with my Striker II the only way to boot up is by pressing that button every single time I power on. [ Heck, I can't even put it into sleep mode >.< ]
