Fan Direction?

Recommended Posts

I'm sure this is easy, but I just bought some case fans and I have no clue how to tell which direction the air flow goes so I know how to place them. How do you tell? Thanks, I have a 50-50 chance, but I would lose....lol

If you look really, really close...there should be a small arrow somewhere on the casing indicating flow. If there isn't, you can always plug it in and see. ;P

Faster method is just look which side has name/spec sticker.

Pretty much all fans blow air to direction of motor hub and its supports.

If you look at the side of the case fan there should be arrows. Now if there isn't, the airflow is going in the direction of where the fan guard is..
