Front Panel Connector Problem

Ok so i have the CM STACKER 830 and the POWER LED is a 3 connector figuration with the wires in the 1 and 3 spots. the problem i have is that my motherbaord (EVGA 680i A1) on supports 2 pin connectors for the front panel. What can i do? or do i just have to cut it down the middle? Please HELP!!!

move one pin to the center acordingly to the layout on the board . there is a guide here someplace on how to remove that connector .. or you could see bout buying an adapter from 3 to 2 pin ...

ok i just moved the one pin to the center and now the led on the front panel works, but now when i turn my mobo on using the on/off switch on the motherboard it turns off the front panel led, is that normal?
