Where to find a Back Plate for the GemII

Hello,

just curious if anyone knows where to find a Back plate for socket775..For the GemII,if been looking around cant seem to find one..? would it be easier just to make my own with a piece of plastic..and metal..and drill 4 wholes?

i used a back plate on my geminiII . i ended up buying a cheap cooler that had one and used it . . you will have to purchase machine screws ,nuts and orings. to make it work .. heres a guide to help aide u HERE i used the hyper 6 + but the same technique . use 3/4 inch machine screws ( #6 x 36 ) and nuts to match ...

I would like to see motherboard and heatsink makers use the old socket 423 P4 mount pattern for mounting heavy after market heatsinks.

Cases have the threaded holes already, so it would only be a matter of adding the 4 holes to the motherboards during the manufacturing process.

This design was much better because the heatsink was securely attached to the motherboard tray instead of the motherboard itself.
