Enough Volts to the motherboard

Been having a crashing problem with my rig. Im not the brightest bulb but someone pointed me to the fact that I should run SpeedFan and check the voltage going to my motherboard.

The +12V: is coming in at 9.87V, they are telling asking me to "check your psu output using something like speedfan to monitor the +12V line as this may cause issues if it hits below 11.9 under load. Well it is, is there any way to up this?

My components are:

PSU - CoolerMaster Real Power Pro 1000W Power Supply

MotherBoard - EVGA 122-CK-NF68-A1 LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 680i SLI ATX

Video Card - EVGA 768-P2-N831-AR GeForce 8800GTX 768MB

CPU - Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 Conroe 3.0GHz 4M shared L2 Cache LGA 775

Storage HD - Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD5000AAKS 500GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive

I'm digging for answers. Anyone else have similar issues? Is my PSU NG and I need an RMA?

I did find this article and wonder if this is associated.

Six Rails Myth

Sounds like this PSU has six 12v rails @18 amps each which means if any one rail is not utilizing all 18 amps it can't give it to the other rails. And with the distribution loss it might be limiting the delivery to 9.87V.[/url]

The +12V is pretty low, so it probably is a faulty PSU.

I don't know if the 6 rails myth would be the problem, but I think not.
