CM-690 - 2 pin to 3 pin Power LED Adapter?

Recommended Posts

Hello I recently purchased the CM-690 and the install went well except that my Asus motherboard wants a 3-pin power LED while the LED plug that came with the case is only a 2 pin. If you look on the newegg reviews this is a common complaint. Does anybody know where I can get an adapter because I really don't want to cut or rewire the switch.

Thank You

We don't have adapters for it.

The only solution is to cut the connector in half.

directron has been sold out of that adapter forever. That is why I had to make my own. Afunguy the adapter really is not an "adapter" in a traditional sense, that plug is just a + and - and the Asus motherboard is + - that is why just cutting it in half works I just like you did not want to do that. Let us know how it goes.
