pc wont boot with RS-430 pcap

problem solved...case closed ^^

checked the cables from the old psu and the new psu

misunderstood the 20+4 pins ;/, the 4pins connecter perfectly fits the mb 12v connector lol :oops::oops::oops:

so i found out that there is an other 4pins connector, and tadaa it works =]

Whew, glad it wasn't something else. Oooh, so you were plugging the other 4 pin next to the 20 pin. >_< I didn't see that there was a 24 slot there... I'll blame that on my old eyes.

Congrats on figuring it out, and having a working system again.

Well, it might be embarrassing, but at least your motherboard isn't dead! Heh ;) Can't tell you how many stupid mistakes I've made in building a computer too fast. :lol: Congrats, glad to hear you're up and running again 8)

My company uses the asrock 939 dual-VSTA mobo's exclusively for our machines and we have had no problems with them and only a very few bad boards when we used to use it's predecessor, the asrock 939 dual-SATA.

a well, never worked with new power supplies :D

only one hdd failure atm, but i'll try to fix that.

its really Learning from your mistakes here now :P
