ninuhadida 0 Posted November 11, 2005 dont know why anyone would want to remove the door....i think it looks best with the door on. I don't like doors... that's why my ATC 110 is now the kids computer. i wish i had the atc-110 i like those cases.. my favourite the WaveMaster2. the stacker is nice, but as i said before i don't like the plastic brackets and the mesh drive bays.. + the 'stamped' grill at the back.. but anyway some mdding on it, would come out awesome

xstax 0 Posted November 11, 2005 I like the 830 but not the door I would consider getting one for my media center PC if something was made to replace the door and keep the smooth lines. But saying I was to use it with a door for a media center pc... Would a front panel unit that uses a remote control work through the mesh of the door??? Guest Mindless Moron Posted November 11, 2005 if it was rf or bluetooth then yes, but with reduced range and strength. ir it would have to be positioned to go straight through the grill.
xstax 0 Posted November 11, 2005 It looks like I'm still planning the media center PC to be in one of those little cube systems or a desktop case. Only reason to use the stacker 830 would be the looks but I want the remote to work well not sorta.
