mw 0 Posted September 17, 2005 Well it hasnt snapped my motherboard yet , but i have a question for you guys Do i put the thermal material on the die of the cpu only, or do i place it all over the copper base of the hyper as stated in the instructions I have an athlon xp3200+ ; what temps should i expect to be seeing ? ninuhadida 0 Posted September 17, 2005 use as5 and do a little bit on the die and soemthing like a credit card to spread the thermal paste along the die of the cpu. should expect <40 temp but you have to say the ambient temp of your room, and the airflow of the case.
