Control Board - Does SATA connector power it?

Do I need to take up one of my mother board's SATA slots to power the Cosmos C700P Control Board and all its fans and RGB or does it get it's power though one of the other connections?  Seems crazy to use up a SATA slot.  Any other options to power the Control Board and all of its connections?

It looks like I need a 15 pin SATA power connector.  My power supply doesn't have one.  I have a CoolerMaster Silent Pro Gold power supply.  Will I need a 15 pin female adapter to either a 6 pin SATA or PCI-e 6 pin?

I purchased and received a female 15 pin SATA connector to 4 pin male Molex connector.  That should do the job getting power to the Cosmos C700P Control Board.
