I was thinking of changing the colours of my stacker case to this design...

Could anyone give me hints or tips on what sort of paints/methods to use in achieving this, basically i have the stacker in my sig and i am going to turn the inside and outside black with the blue beams becoming yellow (image was photo-painted by me to give you an artists impression)

i just did this on a centurion 5 , its disturbingly easy.

- take off the pieces you want to paint

- i sanded them down with 800grit, just to get any grime/dirt/imperfections off

- cleaned the pieces off with a little rubbing alcohol on a cloth

- put them down and painted them, a few passes of the rattle can each time for about 8 light coats.

- left them out in the 100+ degree weather to dry for a couple hours

installed. didnt bother wetsanding the finish or clearing it as it came out just fine as it was, your finish may need the extra steps.

You keep saying paint, but you have to remember how many different types of paint there are for different applications...
