MB530P and RGB Fusion

Recommended Posts

I have a Coolermaster MB530P with a Gigabyte Aorus X570 Ultra motherboard. I can't find a connection for the Gigabyte connector shown below (thank you AnTe for posting this picture ;-)), so I connected the other one to a free aRGB port. So far so good, everything is working.

Except.... the power button. The Coolermaster product details tell me that it is possible to "Sync the addressable RGB lighting on the power button and fans by connecting the ARGB cable from the I/O panel to the included 2 to 3 ARGB splitter. Certified compatible with: ASUS, Gigabyte, MSI, and ASRock motherboards for a comprehensive lighting system.". For the fans this works (becaude they are connected to the motherboard directly). However, the powerbutton only responds to the front panel reset button.

How should I get this to work? I can't even set the RGB on the powerbutton to a constant color. If I disconnect the SATA power connector, is the RGB light on the power button the only thing I disable? Or is the power used for other things??
