How to combine 2 rails of +12V port?

Recommended Posts

I've bough a CM SR-460-PSAR-I3 power supply. It has 2 rails of +12V ports which max current on each port is about 18A. So is there any solution if I need a 12V port which can supply lager current?

Any one please help me.

No, not really possible.

However, normally the 12v1 is for CPU (and M/B) and the 12v2 is for graphics card and other devices. (Check the manual for more details)

Why do you need a larger current? Any specific application? (not software program)
