How to improve your airflow

Recommended Posts

For those people who are out there that have a Stacker or ATC chassis (Read also Wavemaster and Praetorian) there is a little trick on how to improve your airflow.

 Just flip the motherboard tray

Yep...turn your motherboard tray into BTX mode.

When you have for example a Praetorian your CPU will be in one line with the casefans. Your graphic card will also have the fan turned upside so the heat go up instead of getting stuck at the bottum.

Ron, your misleading them by saying btx mode really you should say inverted ATX.

Hmm so much for a side panel ... right? You'd just see the back of the tray.

Your right...sorry if that was unclear

Yes, and I can't imagine how you would "flip the motherboard tray" in either a Wave Master or any other ATCS case without major mods. Please explain further.

There is no mod needed.

Just take out the tray and put it back the other way around.

You only need to remove the speaker because that part is getting in the way

Like I said, the VGA card will be cooled bether because the fan is turned upwarts.

You dont need to remove the rails.
