Welcome to CM forum

Bhai , please contact customer services and tell them regarding this issue .

Issue ticket at here : https://account.coolermaster.com/LogOn.aspx

I have issued a ticket and  waiting reply.
At this moment, the only solution to this looks as,    Hyper212 EVO or Hyper212x with the x-shaped upgrade kit. But CoolerMaster official in Taiwan told me that the upgrade kit will take at least a month (from now) to be available in Taiwan.  :-(

This article is completely WRONG!!!  Cooler Master sells the new AM4 mounting bracket for Hyper 212 LED in China, which is 100% compatible with both old and new version of Hyper 212 LED heat sink. I got this recently. You guys refuse to provide the new upgrading kit to west user, and LIED about it!!

i have the Exact same problem,on an am4(Asrock x370) board you can only have up/down airflow, and you can not use all Dimms(alu to close to dimm even on low profile rams)...  i have contacted customer servive..CM needs to produce brackets, like the ones to am3/am3+/intel..(needs to be a longer one,) that will allow left/right airflow...like all other CPU fans... up/down will result in poor airflow in normal case without topfans.

To whom it may concern,
I have the same problem, my motherboard is ax370 gaming 5 and my cpu is am4. The cpu cooler can only be installed with the coolers up and down (vertical) and I really wish It could be installed horizontal with the coolers to the sides for a better airflow since my case hasn't got an air panel at the top of the case, I wonder if  you a bracket so I could re installed it with the coolers to the sides.

I'm looking forward to your response.

your faithfully.

I have the exact same problem as posted on this thread! Mine can only be installed horizontally by the use of the included clip (which by the way seems a bit short since it is hard to reach the bracket of mobo). The backplate included in the box is not even compatible, i think the correct one should be the image of the backplate posted by Steve. I already filed a ticket for it. just waiting for their response. I hope they can send one. Here's my ticket#00114322. 20170803_200728506_iOS.jpg.8479cae764c8c

Add me to the list of people who regret buying this. I specifically bought it because it had good ratings, a good company name behind it, and said it was AM4 ready. At the time I bought it I wasn't sure if I was going Ryzen or Coffee Lake for my next system, but with the recent announcements with the Intel chips I would like to go Ryzen. Really wish I would have found this thread before I bought it, so disappointing. Poor claim of AM4 compatibility, it looks like half of the boards the clip isn't long enough, and the ones that it does work on you get forced into a vertical orientation.

Now I have to buy another cooler before I start on my build, and it wont be a CoolerMaster.
