Link i give is for power recommendation for every graphic cards current available .

Here is Guru3D's power supply recommendation :

GeForce GTX 1070 / 1080 - On your average system the card requires you to have a 600 Watts power supply unit.
GeForce GTX 1070 / 1080 SLI - On your average system the cards require you to have a 850~900 Watts power supply unit.

You can read full detail at here : Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 review - Hardware Setup | Power Consumption

If me , i just follow what they already do .

Yes .. for both // dual or two cards graphic we called is SLI and below is detail :

SLI is : Scalable Link Interface (SLI) is a brand name for a multi-GPU technology developed by NVIDIA for linking two or more video cards together to produce a single output. SLI is an algorithm of parallel processing for computer graphics, meant to increase the processing power available for graphics.

For AMD we called is CF and below some detail :

AMD CrossFire (also known as CrossFireX) is a brand name for the multi-GPU technology by Advanced Micro Devices, originally developed by ATI Technologies. The technology allows up to four GPUs to be used in a single computer to improve graphics performance.

Hope this can help .
