280 enough to handle your FX 8350 system ..

Owner pro 5 chassis + 4690k and install it with masterliquid 240 on the top ... result i got is very very ( make me happy super silent ) idle 26c load 40-50c run as Full Speed .

And i believe if we build with correctly ( no problem ) can touch our system , unless what we have is faulty unit .

Bro you can check this user ( have asrock board ) might this help you ..

Hope this can help .

The pump must be conected to chassis fan 1 or if you have asrock board, to super speed fan. then work. the 2 fans of liquid cooler, to cpu fan 1 & 2

Hi Cooler Master Team, I'm owner of MLP280. I have question about the specification.

When I bought it(9 months ago) there was no 2066 socket but I don't see any brackets information ... is version sold e.g. 1year ago compatible straight away with 2066 socket without any additional parts? Please correct specification to make it clear :)

Second question:

are you expecting MLP280 to be compatible with AMD TR4 (Threadripper) socket?

Thanks !

Since socket 2066 has the same layout as 2011 this cooler is compatible with that socket out of the box. So please double check if your cooler came with the brackets for socket 2011 (see page 10 in the manual) and mount that cooling.

Threadripper compatibility is not something we are working on at this moment, for this specific cooling

I've just read Michael's post with interest.  I'm about to build a 7900X system using the Liquid Pro 280 at the top of a Cosmos II case.   When Toms Hardware reviewed that cooler it suggested that you could reduce the sound output by using four fans at lower RPM.  What I am wondering is if you use the same type of fan to pull, as you would to push?  I've read about the difference between radiator and case fans, but that was only dealing with fans that pushed through a radiator.

Dissapointed with masterliquid pro 280, i have a mastercase 5 maker and installed master liquid pro in the top portion of the case with with fans in push mod on top of the radiator, the problem is besides the fans are very loud in this mode i get a vibration so strong that affects even the desk where the pc is on and is very irritating. When i installed front mount radiator things got a 180º turn, the fans got so silenced that i have doubts that they were turned on and i got no vibration at all, problem is the i live in a very hot city in Brazil and front mount is not best suited.

Sorry for any english errors and typos.

I have exactly the same issue.

Does anyone know what is happening this product is all of a sudden nowhere to get in the EU (Netherlands specific)

Is this EOL or will there be a newer/altered version?

Hi, is there any chance there will be TR4 (AMD Threadripper) brackets set for ML Pro?

Cooler Master uses PRO for this series of ML, MLPro280 is the highest TDP liquid cooler you have yet it's not compatible with high end AMD socket ...

Cheers,

AS

Ditto to Rinaldo. Since release, the 280mm model has all but disappeared from the more common vendor websites. It's available from some overseas locations, but at pretty disappointing prices. I'm looking to load a HAF XB EVO (promoted from a test bench chassis, was pleasantly surprised with quality and features) with some current hardware over the next six months, and the ML Pro would be a beautiful addition.

Any chance of a resupply? Updated version? RGB treatment? Sure, I could go with a 240mm variant, or a 120mm variant as exhaust, but why not squeeze all the performance I can into that sucker?

Hi, I'm upgrading my computer with Threadripper 2950x in few weeks.

Any chance of support for TR4 socket in context of MasterLiquid Pro 280 ?

Cheers,

M
