I've been wondering... How many version does the Stacker have?

I've heard that there are 3 - 810, 820 (Stacker I) and the new 830 (Stacker II).

- What are the diffrences between the three versions?

- When does the new Stacker is going to be released?

- When the Stacker II will hit, does the another version will be discounted?

- Does the stacker has BLACK/BLACK version instead of Silver/Black?

- What about any full brushed aluminium version?

BTW, i've saw that there's only one model - STC-T01. So how come there are 3 versions?

Thanks in advance

regards,

hombre

There in lies the problem...how come only 3/5 of the questions are able to be answered? You'd think that with a bulletin board you could easily come up with all of them. :?

1) Well the 810 I believe was the first or second revision, the 830 is the newest one that is scheduled to be released in 2) June - August. 3) I do not know if the first stacker will be discontinued once the new one is out but I believe that it probably will not. 4) The Stacker does not have a black panel/black side rails or fully brushed aluminum. 5) The new stacker will be fully brushed and all aluminum making it much lighter.

1) STC-T01 is the current version of stacker.

2) CM-Stacker 810 - server version of CM Stacker

3) CM-Stacker 830 - All aluminum mid tower stacker

4) CM-Stacker 820 - BTX version.

5) ETA not known yet. All three new versions are still in testing phase.

6) We will still carry the STC-T01 until there won't be a market for it anymore.

7) No only silver bar and black body for the current stacker.

8) The CM-Stacker 830 will be all brushed aluminum.

Try searching mate, surely 3/5 of what you asked was answered already :?

If you have the answers or know where to find them, please provide the information. If you don't know the answer or don't want to give the answer, don't reply. Do not tell people to search. When people do that, the people who do search find results that are only messages that say "do a search".

Thank you.

Thank you all!

Let me re-phrase my question about the colors again - Do the Stacker 820 has a black shield version, with silver bards, but black bays? (similar to the pic in CHEESEWHiZ's sig) From the stores I saw in my country there are two color version - black and silver.

So, if I want to buy a Stacker now, it would be the BTX 820, right?

- What are the diffrences EXCEPT THE SHIELD between the 820 and 830?

- Why does the 830 look so ugly? Will it look different in the end? It looks like a 1 dollar TT case.

- I would love to have the new stacker, so many improvements... but it's ugly as :)... Well, i can always mod the older one to get the same specs! and steel is much better than a faint aluminium... and i don't carry my case to LP's so i don't care about weight.

- the stacker has a removeable mobo tray, right?

- the stacker 820 is full tower while the newer one will be tower, right?

thanks in advance, great forum

regards,

hombre
