Conclusion

The Real Power 450 is without a doubt a quality power supply. Enthusiasts looking to power new high end systems don't have to fear getting a bum power supply that will provide them with enough power for just about every type of use, particularly with overclocking. The Real Power 450 is Cooler Master's first power supply that brought the distinct look and engineering usually associated with the Cooler Master brand into the power supply market.

With unique features like included voltage monitoring, dual rail architecture, and a honey comb" design for better thermal dissipation, the Real Power 450 is in a class of its own. Of course, if the power supply will be as successful in the actual market as it was in our lab today, we'll be seeing many manufacturers come out with their own "honey comb" designs and voltage monitoring bundles to compete with Cooler Master in the market they have created, the same kind of situation that we saw with the Wave Master.

The Real Power 450's single 120mm fan runs very quietly, rotating at a slower RPM than most fans. This combined with an efficient thermal design allow the PSU to run at high voltages without heat problems, which will only help in prolonging the units life as time goes on. To sum it up, the Real Power 450 is yet another testament to Cooler Master's industry leading engineering. They have a great product on their hands with the Real Power 450, a product that should be hitting store shelves any day now.

love the power supply, only thing that I could see adding would be sleeving to all the cables like antec and a few other companies are doing now, makes it alot easier on me because when I buy a new power supply I hate having to re-sleeve all my cables.
