CPU cooler for HP Z210

Recommended Posts

I'm buying an aftermarket cooler to replace the stock one that came with my Z210, but most coolers (I'm looking at the 212EVO and similar offerings) either use a backplate or the usual Intel push pins. The problem I have is that the motherboard and chassis are custom HP things (or maybe server?) and the stock cooler (see atached image) screws through the motherboard into the panel behind it, leaving no room for a backplate. Is there a way to fit the 212 on such a motherboard or is there a more appropriately designed cooler?

Thanks in advance.

I asked them yesterday and they confirmed that no CM cooler is compatible with the server-style mounting system. There go my affordable options :D
