Green Shield    17

Hi Everyone :)

I Am Nenad, and im representing Green Shield Workshop in this scratch build.  Green Shield is a workshop specialized in making custom pieces of arms and armour, historically accurate and custom designed.

We also tend to experiment outside the established armouring practice, making projects based on medieval, Sci-Fi, Steampunk or other theme or genre.

The Workshop developed from the Green Shield Armoury, by experimenting with new techniques and materials. Thusly, Green Shield Labs is a part of the Workshop dedicated to research and development of new technologies to implement into an old craft.

Therefore we are here today :) With our 1st scratch build, and our second work on pc case ever. We made dragon mod of Cooler Master Case 5 last year ( i will attach photo) for Cooler Master Balkan,  and now we decided to move to something different.

We called it Cyborg, and it will be all hand made in steel, using a lot of old and new armoring techniques, with servo engines, automatic front panel, water cooling etc etc.
Idea came on last IT fair in September in Belgrade when we were guests at Cooler Master Make it yours stand, with our Dragon PC case.

We already started build about month and a half ago. and i will soon start to post all production photos.

We didnt had any sponsors this year beside Cooler Master Balkan, and they provided us with fans, water coolers, PSU and a lot of support. we still dont know exactly what we are gonna put in it, but this is preliminary hardware :

PSU- Cooler Master V1000
Cooler master Water Cooling (we are gonna modify this actually) Nepton 240m, Nepton 120
Fans- Cooler Master Jerflo 120
Intel i5 6600K
Motherboard - Gygabyte Ga-Z170- gaming K3
GPU- Gigabyte nVidia GeForce GTX 960 4GB
SSD Hyperx 240gb
we will choose ddr these days :)

Hope you'll like it!

These 2 photos were our 1st and only mod ever. Pictures below them are our current project

Here are some photos from build start, as promised :)

Lets start with skeleton. Everything is made from steel, and stainless steel. Main frame is basically tripod, with stainless tube, and that frame will hold the case in "flying" position

Plates are temporally spot welded together, but when we finish it, every single part would be fixed with screws and spacers, so every part can be detached easily

The video is unlisted and the left reservoir is leaking/dripping. :)
Impressive metal works though, keep it up! ;)
You should mill two grooves on the inside of the reservoir top and bottom and insert some o-rings...

Thank you :) Actually its not leaking :) Drops were on the reservoir and hose, leftovers while we were putting liquid inside (we need smaller funnel :D ) :)  Rings were made so tight that we actually had to use press to put acrylic pipes in :)  And video is unlisted because we plan to make time lapse video of assembly, and that one will go public :)
