Will the Real Power 450 be sufficient?

Alright I am planning on upgrading my motherboard and cpu within a few months and would also like to purchase a Real Power 450 because the 12 volt on my X-Connect is really bad(I was thinking of using it as a second PSU in my stacker if I ever get a power hungry video card).

The specs will be

CPU: AMD Athlon 64 3500+

Motherboard: MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum

RAM: Some spare DDR400 (I think I have 728mb spare)

Video Card: Sapphire Tech. 9600XT 256 MB

Hard drives: 1 IDE Maxtor 7200 RPM 80GB

1 IDE Western Digital 7200 RPM 250GB

1 IDE Western Digital 7200 RPM 60GB

Optical drives: One 4x DVD burner

Accessories: Aerogate II with 2 80 mm CM quad LED fans connected to one channel, 2 front 120mm Enermax fans connected to another channel, 1 80mm quad LED top blowhole connected to the last channel.

I just need to know if the PSU would be able to handle this.

I think it should be no problem. The total power consumption is around 360 watts by your configuration in peak loading. You can check total power consumption if you choose CM real power 450W PSU because of its HCI power meter. 8)

im gonna see how it goes for the first week or so, if it f**ks me about, im defanatly buying a new psu, possibbly enermax or hopefully CM release one by then (which i doubt). that would be ideal,

why did they release a budget psu now i wonder, when all this SLI crap is out.

Because not everyone will be able to afford a SLi setup and they could be used with CM cases.

I have an x-connect and so far so good - the voltages look decent thus far, and I've had it running nonstop for over a month now. If it craps out on me, I know what I'm going for... a Real Power 450. But I'm not looking forward to having to sleeve yet another PSU!

Anyway, I'm sure CM will have a high-end PSU out soon enough... just be patient. You know there are some people who still only need 350W PSUs.. :D
