Zenith 5 Posted November 9, 2015 OCN user qsxcv suggests to change the algorithm and not just decrease the debounce time. http://electronics.stackexchange.com/questions/98644/debouncing-by-ignoring-data Refer to the OCN thread here: http://www.overclock.net/t/1577222/cooler-master-xornet-ii-review/100_100

lapayo 1 Posted November 19, 2015 I had another OCN user who owns the mouse test it against a 500hz WMO using Bloody's (A4Tech) mouse shooting program which can be downloaded here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/7jrr652uivmog35/Mouse%20Shooting%20Speed%20Test%20V1.6.exe?dl=0 These are the results: http://www.overclock.net/content/type/61/id/2623218/width/350/height/700/flags/LL A=Xornet 2 (with software set to lowest button latency) B=WMO@500hz The WMO@500hz is slower than the original Xornet /w v55 firmware by 11-12ms. This means the Xornet 2 is slower than Xornet 1 (FW55) by 7-8ms. I just tested with this tool using my old xornet 1 with my new xornet 2 with Firmware 1.02 I dont know if my old xornet1 is misconfigured, but I get better results with my xornet 2. http://imgur.com/XZkNi0W (A is Xornet 2, B Xornet 1)

Either they fixed the Xornet 2 with their new firmware (in which case kudos you CM!) or you're using a Xornet 1 with the laggy firmware (only Xornet 1 v55 firmware has almost no latency)
lapayo 1 Posted November 19, 2015 (only Xornet 1 v55 firmware has almost no latency) Dont know about v55, only know about v7* firmware versions. According to the firmware reader its running on v75. Where can I get v55? Then I will test the mices again.

Zenith 5 Posted November 19, 2015 If both mice give the same result with no clear winner or if Xornet 2 is faster than the click latency is most likely minimal.
