Good Purchase On Fans?

Recommended Posts

I just purchased:

Aero 4 Lite CPU Cooler

x2 - TLF-S82-EB (Blue LED Fans)

I bought these today because my current CPU fan/heatsink is not great, its not a stock Intel one either, but its a bit noisy.

I bought the LED fans, for the front intake fans on my Praetorian case.

Do you guys think I made a good purchase here?

I'm regretting a bit on the Aero 4 Lite.. because I heard it was noisy at high speeds. (Anyone else here ever used the Aero 4?)

Keep in mind theres no overclocking or anything involved here.

Think this would be good for my case?

Here's some pics.

I think it was a solid buy. I am using my stock cpu cooler, and not enjoying it very much. The Aero 4 I have not heard much about or looked at actual facts. But, like you, I have heard rumors that at high speeds it can become noisy. As long as you aren't overclocking, it shouldn't be too noisy. The cooler the better, so it seems to be a good buy.

I think that's a good buy. The Aero4 will improve your CPU temps and remove the "dead zone". I saw your case on the [H]Forum.

lol, and yes I know my cabling is messy, I'm not hardcore in tidying up the cables and such. but I'm trying ever since I got the Praetorian case :P

I just got another problem, these 2 LED fans, on my mobo, I only have 3 fan headers, one for the rear, cpu fan, and 1 front fan.

Both of these fans have the 3 pin connector, so how would I be able to connect it?

Only having one fan using the 3 pin connector, while the other is using the molex?

or

Having both fans connect using the molex?

both fans come with 4 pin connectos, do I use both of the molex's?

-----------------------

sorry for all these questions I'm still kinda new to all this, I'm also worried I wont be able to fit the Aero 4 Lite, on my mobo, because of that aluminum thing under the heatsink.

thnx

oh I c, thnx Mr. Miyagi

So I guess im just going to use one molex from each fan, and then tie a knot or something with the left over 3 pin connectors.

thnx again!
