Hello everyone. My name is Anatoly Krotov aka "AntSter". I'm not a newbie to modding, but first time competing in the international competition.

Have you seen the new video "[HOONIGAN] KEN BLOCK'S GYMKHANA SEVEN: WILD IN THE STREETS OF LOS ANGELES"?

More details about this video can be found here

The car on which Ken rides in this video inspired me to create scratch build [HOONICORN]. Word "Hoonicorn" consists of two words: "Hoonigan" - name of Ken Block's racing division, and "Unicorn" - code name was used during the build this car.
More details about this car can be found here and here

This will be mitx computer as powerful and fast as all-wheel drive 845 horsepower Ford Mustang Hoonicorn RTR from the video. I will be used aluminum, acrylic and natural carbon fiber. I'm going to install water cooling. Primary colors of my modding project - those that are present on the Mustang.
Now the project is in the design stage.

I hope, It will be interesting!
Ready To Rock!

The video card - a prize in the competition, which was held by Nvidia in 2013.  To win in the competition - it was necessary to create the smallest computer using the mITX motherboard and graphics card GeForce GTX. It was not modding contest, but i cant create ugly case. You can read the article on my computer for this competition here

What is most noticeable in the video Ken Block, except [HOONICORN], of course?

Yes! Smoke from under the wheels of all!

I'll use a fog machine "Easy-Gizmo EZ400" 400Watt inside my little mitx case!

It consists of a liquid reservoir, the pump and the heater.

Good news!

Cooler Master Russia, CIS, Georgia & Baltic States is sponsor of this build!

I want to thank them for computer hardware, which they gave me.

0_17b934_24bba4e4_orig.jpg

Cooler Master V750 - very quiet power supply unit standard size. Best choice for mITX Build.

Cooler Master Silencio FP120PWM - in Russia, they only started to appear on sale. Best for watercooling radiators.

Cooler Master A9225-28RB-4AP-C1 and A8025-40RB-4AP-C1. One of them i will use as case cooler.

Now - time to make the frame. To do this, I will use the aluminum profile 14мм*14мм, with a wall thickness of 2mm. I have 6 meters of this profile.

Cut by hand using a metal saw.

We obtain joint 45 degrees manually using file and needle files

To put together, I use connectors Monticelli 7012 (45 degrees), 7013/7014 (90 degrees)

On the laser machine cut for me the details of black gloss acrylic and clear acrylic. Also it engraved logos. At Ken Block's car stickers his sponsors, and in my case logos those due to whom this contest is held. This is not the final form of this part, except the engraving will be something else.

Naturally, during the fitting parts of acrylic can scratch, so they are in the film

Meanwhile, work continues on the frame. All parts of the sawed off, left to drill holes and collect.
