Nepton 280L and Storm Stryker Full Tower case

Recommended Posts

I am narrowing my search for a full tower case and Aio cooling solution. I have just about settled on the Coolermaster Nepton 280L.

The case I will place it in the Coolermater Storm Stryker. Has anyone used this setup. Coolermaster has recommended it. It was recommended to install it on top. Can it be installed in a push/pull confiquration? Any known difficulties? All help appreciated. Thank you in

advance.

A push-pull configuration might be a bit difficult because of how the handle is attached to the case at the top.

Push/pull wont work with this case if you want to mount the fans outside the case.

However, if you put everything on the inside, it will fit. (But also depends on the motherboard it bit.. but should be fine with most)

No big deal on the push/Pull. Anything else you can tell me about the case or the cooler would be appreciated, But I am pretty much sold on the Nepton and the stryker.

I need it to cool an FX 9590 and  possibly OC a FX 8320.

Yes, that will fit.

What motherboard are you planning to use? The heatsinks on the M/B itself could be a deal breaker.

The nepton will hit the heatsinks on that M/B... (if using push/pull config on the inside of the case).
