Hyper 212 Evo replacement fan

Recommended Posts

My fan on my Hyper 212 Evo cooler has died within six months after purchase. It is now out of warranty (?) and I have been unable to find a replacement fan for it. The fan was made in China. It is 12V @0.37 amps and has a 4-pin female connector. My numbers are A12025-20CB-4BP-F1 and there's also a second number DF1202512SEUN CF. If I Google the A12025 part number off of the fan it just gives me results for the whole package. Can someone direct me to an equivalent? The stock fan worked fine until it locked up so I don't need anything too fancy - just something with the same or better specs and the 4-pin connector.

The whole "'airflow" and "air pressure" differences have been a bit confusing to me as well. Thank you in advance for your replies.

Hello bmh67wa o,

the airflow or air flow is a measurement of the amount of air per unit of time that flows through a particular device.

The amount of air can be measured by its volume or by its mass.

Air pressure is most important for cooling. It indicates cooling power per unit area. If the diameter of a fan is constant, then more air pressure indicate more air flow. Simple relation of air flow with air pressure is, (dia*dia)*(air pressure*air pressure)/(100*28.51875)= Air flow (in CFM) Here, dia in mm(diameter of fan), air pressure in mmH2O

the warranty period for the CPU cooler in North America is 2 years. This does include the fan.

You may fill out a parts request for the fan here

Is there a way to order just the plastic brackets that slip over the heat sink ... or at least a fan that comes with these brackets?

Description:

Similar problem.  I couldn't find a fan with plastic brackets, so I ordered a similar cooler master fan.  I placed the old brackets on the new fan.

But when I slid the fan / brackets over the heat sink, the plastic seems to have become brittle over the years and one corner tab cracked.

The new fan is just able to stay in place.  But I'd rather have all 4 corners secure.
