Hello modding friends & followers!

Here we go again for another adventure @ Cooler Master case modding contest 2013! I am really looking forward to start modding again after a break of a couple of months (summertime) 8)
So what is the plan, the plan is to customize a CoolerMaster Tower in the Theme of the X1- Prototype, no scratch mod this year bud a supreme Theme build around the Red Bull’s X1-Prototype.

HOLD ON TIGHT & ENJOY THE RIDE!

Hi there fellow members,

To provide you some info regarding this X-1 Prototype project, I am working hard to combine all my knowledge and connections for what’s going to be my greatest build ever! Therefore I am still searching some sponsorships because Great builds like these mostly means Great symbols like these € $ £..

As for now I am proud to say that I already found two Great sponsors:

On your mark, get set, GO !

It's about time for me to get up and start modding, so I can show you all what this great build is going to look like when finished  Let's start with a little refreshing. The meaning of this build is NOT a scratch build that looks like the X1-Prototype but a CoolerMaster CosmosII tower mod that looks like a case that was designed for extreme performance in the theme of Red Bull's X1-Prototype race car. There will be a custom Red Bull paint job and wrapping going on with a complete custom water cooling setup like you never seen before ...let me say X1 style. I will also be designing and creating custom acrylic water cooling parts like the reservoir and Red Bulls loop accents. The side, front and top panels will be transformed to look a bit like the X1 car. The airflow of this case will also be a world premiere I think? Not even mentioned that this CosmosII chassis is completely modded to a BTX chassis design (upside-down) all these technics and new innovations will lead to one of my greatest builds I made so far.

The hardware I will be using is also thout abbout for future progress, let me say what this powerhouse will carrey under the hood:

Case: CoolerMaster CosmosII

Power supply: CoolerMaster silent Pro 1300Watts

Motherboard: Asus Z87 Sabertooth TUG series

CPU: Intel core i5-4670K (watercooled by EK GOLD)

Memory: 16GB Dominator PLatinums + lightmod

Graphics: Nvidia 770GTX in SLI (watercooled by EK)

SSD: Samsung EVO 840 Serie in Raid-0

Now hopefully you all follow this crazy journey to the end and Love the idea behind this project :D ....Hold on tight and enjoy the ride :iroc:

ATX to BTX Transformation !! 8)

Probably the first one that tryed it out but its a piece of cake to transform this case in a BTX form factor! You just drill the revets and turn the backpanel upside down, its not all you have to do doch, but is a beginning :D

Last ATX pictures

DREMEL TIME !!

Now I knew the BTX inspiration will work I was able to continue the project. I started cutting the holes in the front to fit not one but TWO Massive 200mm front intake fans! Like I said before I will take this case to a extreme level. 8)

For future progress I needed to shorten down the motherboard tray, ofcourse I needed to try out my brand new Bosch saw  (thnx honney)

Also the center panel needed to be trimmed down a bit, for future purpose.
