I was thinking of buying the HAF XB EVO for a new lan build. I have a very long power supply and it wouldn't fit in the HAF XB. I was planning on removing the X-Dock, which would provide me with plenty of room for the psu. The only problem is the hole in the front panel that would be left. Is there any easy solution to this? Thank you for your help.
As the marketing says, a budget case does not have to lack features; overall nice looking case and good interior design. And the X-Dock connector plate is probably budget quality. The power receptacle is the Molex type, OK except that the power plug can be inserted backwards, the D shape of the receptacle is, how do I say it, flexible enough and the slant corners are barely visible, to allow a backwards connection with a gentle push. In other forums - don't have the links right now - this may have caused fried disks. In my case did not fry anything, it just never worked. The disks I tried work just fine on other external docks. I don't have to have this feature, and I am not taking apart my new build and be without it, to return the whole case when only this part seems defective. Just be aware if You purchase this case.
