  1. Hi. I'm new to the forum, and also to RGB building. I only opted to go RGB when I couldn't find regular parts at the time, and figured why not. Anyway, I have run into a problem with the front panel fans. Here is a list of all the parts I have for the build I wanted to make: Cooler master MB520 case (using the three front panel fans and rear exhaust fan pre-installed) MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC Ryzen 7 2700X CPU G.Skill Trident Z RGB 32 GB DDR4-3000 RAM (2x16) Crucial M.2 500GB NMVe SSD (will add additional drives later) EVGA GeForce GTX 1050TI (no cables required) 2 additional Cooler Master Lite 120 fans (for the top panel of the MB520) Corsair RM650 fully modular PSU I checked PC Part Picker, and made sure that all of these components were compatible with each other. I also confirmed with other PC builders to ensure they would all work together. With that out of the way, my problem lies in the front panel, specifically the three fans that are provided with the case. On my board, there are more than enough connections for system fans. However, the connection for the three fans is 4-pin female, while the board has nothing but 4-pin male. The kind with the 'notch' that appear to only allow 3-pin connectors. Is there somewhere on my board to allow connectability, or will I need something extra to allow the fans to connect to the board (either directly or indirectly)? I have tried looking through the manual for the motherboard but the only connectors that made sense were those that appear to only support LED RGB strips. I tried asking advice from other PC builders and they were unable to figure it out. I even went to youtube and other sources of support and turned up empty. My eyesight is really low, too low in fact that I have to rely on others or use ridiculously sized print to read the tiny labels on the board. I also have very limited knowledge on PC building when it comes to post 2014 hardware. Family and friends are either too far away to help, or know nothing about PC building themselves. I just need to know how to connect the three fans to my board without too much hassle

  4. Hello! My name is Drew, I'm a case modding hobbyist. For this build I wanted to do something more simple and clean, I decided on a monochromatic theme with no RGB. I decided on using chrome tubing for the first time and I designed a custom sl600m distro plate for the case as well. The distro plate was created by 3D scanning the case and then modeling around it. i wanted minimal tubing runs hense the secondary chamber in the plate. The goal of this build is to be able to easily swap out coolant colors and for it to stay just as clean as with just black. The build features the following specs: Cooler Master SL600M Ryzen R9 3900x 32gb DDR4 Corsair Dominator Platinum Ram Nvidia GTX 1080 ti MSI x470 Gaming AC Motherboard Watercooling parts include: EKWB Alphacool My own custom work If you have any questions on the build please let me know! Initial product Shot Vinyl Wrapped CPU Block The custom distro plate that i had designed. Picture of the plate getting milled. After getting it made by Clockwork Industries. Picture of the plate installed and some tubing ran. Loop Complete Started loop filling with purple fluid. Going to be changed to black. New Cables from Mainframe Customs Build should be done the weekend of the 21st, stay tuned! FINAL PHOTOS: There isn't enough space for all of them so be sure to check out the reply to see the other two photos.

  6. My goal was to build something very similar to most desks that have computer parts embedded, but with a way classier look. I also wanted to make this desk part of a furniture set, to show that a powerful PC can be easily embedded into an eye-candy living room. Thus came to be The Perfect Desk, probably the best DeskPC in the world. After several design versions, I finally came to a decision. I started cutting and drilling, painting and mounting, and it all took shape very fast. The entire building phase lasted no more than 4 days, while the waiting for parts and shopping for materials lasted way longer, summing up to a total of 2 weeks. While building it, sponsors started showing up for his project. First there was CoolerMaster, who decided to showcase their MasterKeys Pro L RGB and MasterMouse Pro L, and then several others joined, such as MSI, Plextor, Silicon-Power and SilverStone. I also needed a good low profile AIO cooler for my i7 6700K so I decided to go with a CoolerMaster's MasterLiquid ML120L RGB. Featured CoolerMaster products: MASTERLIQUID ML120L RGB MASTERKEYS PRO L RGB MASTERMOUSE PRO L
  7. Does anyone know if I have some sort of warranty, if get my CoolerMaster ML240R ARGB Liquidcooler through the current MSI Giveaway (available in Germany)? When purchasing one of the new X570 Boards, MSI will gift you a ML240R ARGB. If somehow my AiO starts to fail or has some issues after lets say 4 months, do I have any kind of warranty or possibilty of a replacement? I already messaged MSi about this, but wanted to see if any official CoolerMaster people can provide me with an answer. Picture is ofc in german

  10. Hi, I'm Mike Wang and I'm from Taiwan. This mod is inspired by Blizzard's FPS game "Overwatch" Blizzard made a short animation for Overwatch called "Dragons" The story is about two brothers, and their internal conflict about each other. 12. Hi guys! My name is Matteo, from Italy! This is my second Mod and by far it has been a beautiful journey The story of this mod is crazy, actually the guys at Cooler Master sent me the Master Case after meeting at a 3d printing event in Milan and since then we started a great relationship. The theme of the mod came up in my mind after a long period of travelling with my girlfriend I present to you the "ONI" which is the japanese demon described as spirits of the dead, of the earth, of the ancestors, of vengeance, of the plague and/or famine. The reason behind this choice will remain a secret to you all. 13. I wanted to make something totally different... An ECO build whit a lot of Recicled, and reused materials, and left owers from old projects. I started to look ower my raw- / left ower materials and desided tu re use as many as i could. I gathering my tools Edit: Modder: Balazs Szabo - BaluC Modding Name: ENT CPU: Intel i3-4330 Mobo: MSI H97M ECO PSU: Cooler Master V450 Semi-Modular Cooler: Cooler Master V8 GTS RAM: HyperX FURY White DDR3 Memory 1866 8Gx2 (HX318C10FWK2/16) SSD: HyperX FURY SSD 120G (SHFS37A/120G)*1 ------ Mod Description / Concept: ------ What are ENTs? Ents are a race of beings in J. R. R. Tolkien's fantasy world Middle-earth who closely resemble trees. They are similar to the talking trees in folklore around the world. Their name is derived from the Anglo-Saxon word for giant. They appeared J. R. R. Tolkien: The Lord of the Rings. Ents, are a very old race, described tree-like giants that appeared in Middle-earth. Ents were envisioned as Shepherds, to protect the forests from orcs and other perils. The Elves have tales of teaching the trees and the Ents to talk: although the Ents were sentient beings at the time, they did not know how to speak until the Elves taught them. Almost nothing is known of the early history of the Ents ? they apparently lived in and protected the large forests of Middle-earth in previous ages. This ancient Race, what protects the forest, the nature. On the other side was MSI, with their effort, to make great Motherboards with minimized power consumption, to protect the natural resources. This has given me the inspiration to make this Mod. With this naturally based thoughts was the planing of this sketch mod. Almost everything used to make this mod (except PC Parts) where Reused or left over things from other projects. All of this would have landed in the trash sooner or later, but so I have given the used things / materials a new purpose, and the chance not to go to the junkyard. It is a Little Symbolism is built in to this mod. Between the living, green branches , there are the dried out ones. This symbolises the natures renewing power! The Ent it self is the ambassador of nature, Reminds us to take care of nature, because we only have this one Planet to live! The Ents symbiosis with the PC parts represents, that the modern technic could be used to help nature! The less power consumption is good for your environment AND for your pocket as well. J. R. R. Tolkiens Ents are not only in the books like The Lord of the Rings. Also appear in other works. In fantasy and role-playing games such as Dungeons & Dragons, EverQuest, Magic: The Gathering. This creatures appear in a lot of Fantasy worlds (and games) like Warcraft universe, The Lord of the Rings Online, League of Legends, Dungeon Siege, Dragon Age series, Harry Potter series, Elder Scrolls series, Chronicles of Narnia, Heroes of Might and Magic III, Mad God (MMORPG), and so on. In the film Maleficent, The Marvel character Groot bears many similarities to Ents. Best Regards: Balazs Szabo - BaluC ------ Introduceing Myself: ------ Hi! My Name is Balazs Szabo, from Hungary. More Known as "BaluC" or "BaluC Modder". I make Mods more then 20 years and has won numerous Hungaryan and International Trophies. At the last five years I was at DCMM - Gamescon, and on almost ewery Modding contest in Hungary. I'm known over my totally crazy Mods: Aquarium PC, Gloves-Mouse, Rat-Mouse, Ripped off Alien head, a Full size Predator, Pandora's magical jungle from Avatar, Moveing fire spitting Dragon, and so on... I'm proud of my 2014 DCMM-s "24H Modding Challenge"-s First place with my teammate, and my Predator costume which in a previously unknown "world" (Cosplay) I won not only a Trophy, but a lot frend as well. Modding is a great pleasure for me. I like to create new, unusual, astonishing creations. I have heard in several times art lovers, that modding is a kind of modern art. But all my success, it would not worth anything, without the love and support of my family. I am grateful to have Them! Best Regards: Balazs Szabo - BaluC
