  1. I live in Republic of Korea(South Korea). I set up my computer(maker5) Oct. 2018. and it worked well. At 3rd of Apr. 2019. I found front fans and upper fans were stopped. Exactly, on low fan mode, they didn't work. On high fan mode, they worked. I think something was wrong, so I opened maker5. I was shocked that I found one part of controller was melt down and it penetrated its plastic case in a half. One part of controller was overheated and fell off from the PCB, and melt down its case. If that fell to cables inside maker5, it made a fire disaster, I think. And I call the seller and they gave me another controller, I installed it. But at 11th of May 2019. After just one month I re-intalled it, same thing was happened. So I re-called the seller and they will investigate it, and they'll gave me another one. I use a EVGA 1300W Gold G3 PSU. I want to know why the controller was overheated TWICE ! There was no other parts connected by a cable beween the controller and PSU. It's very dangerous. I do not want the same thing to happen to me.
  2. Recently built a system with the Maker 5 case. I have the three chassis fans plugged into the controller on the backside of the case and have the 2/4 molex power cable connected, however, none of the fans are running. I've tested all the fans by plugging them directly into fan power cables and they run fine, but no luck on the controller. The front panel USB 2.0 header is not currently connected as my motherboard only has one of these headers and it's needed for my H110i AIO cooler. I'm wondering if that's the issue and the controller requires that USB somehow. Is there something else I'm missing and does anyone know exactly what needs to be connected at minimum to make this fan controller work. Thanks.

Modding!!
  5. Hi all! I hope that this year has been great to all of you thus far? I was asked by Cooler Master South Africa to complete a case mod on the new MasterCase Maker 5 chassis for the rAge expo this year in October in Johannesburg, this is a large computer and gaming expo here in South Africa, and I have to say that this is an amazing opportunity. So without further delay, let the modding begin! The day I received the chassis: I decided instead of going with the typical movie or game theme, I went with a different approach. This machine will resemble power, passion, detail and what Cooler Master means to me (Making it yours and empowering your passion!) Take a look at the texture I decided on going with for this mod: The result now coming together, the overall effect being that the machine has so much power to harness, hence the "sinister" naming.
