I am building a new PC with the HAF XB EVO case using the Corsair H115i RGB Platinum and I am trying to figure out the best fan configuration to optimize cooling for Ryzen 3900X G.Skill Trident Neo 3600Mhz @ 14-15-15-35 Asus Crosshair Hero VIII X570 Gigabyte Gaming OC 5700XT I plan on using this to have an additional intake from the left side of the case pointed directly at the GPU, but I am unsure of how this will affect the overall airflow in the case with the radiator fan right behind it. For fans I have 2x Corsiar H115i stock fans (97 CFM @ 3.0 static pressure) 3x Noctua NF-P14s (78.7 CFM @ 1.91 static pressure) 3x Corsair LL120 (43.25 CFM @ 1.61 static pressure) 1x Noctua NF-A20 (86.5 CFM @ 1.08 static Pressure) 3x Noctua NF-12 Industrial PPC 2000 (107.5 CFM @ 4.18 static pressure) My first thought was: Intake (244 CFM): Front: 194 CFM @ 3.0 static pressure (2x Corsair H115i stock fans pushing) > 27mm radiator > 157.4 CFM @ 1.91 static pressure (2x Noctua NFP14s pulling) Side: 86.6 CFM @ 1.61 static pressure (2x Corsair LL120) Exhaust (129.8 CFM): Top: 86.5 CFM @ 1.08 static pressure (Noctua NF-A20) Rear: 43.3 CFM @ 1.61 static pressure (LL120) NOTE: I prefer this could be replaced with a 78.7 CFM @ 1.91 static pressure (Noctua NF-P14s) My other thought was to move Noctua NF-P14s from the radiator to side intake (replacing the LL120s there) Intake (351.4 CFM): Front: 194 CFM @ 3.0 static pressure (2x Corsair H115i stock fans pushing) > 27mm radiator > pulling) Side: 157.4 CFM @ 1.91 static pressure (2x Noctua NFP14s) Exhaust (129.8 CFM): Top: 86.5 CFM @ 1.08 static pressure (Noctual NF-A20) Rear: 43.3 CFM @ 1.61 static pressure (LL120) NOTE: I prefer this could be replaced with a 78.7 CFM @ 1.91 static pressure (Noctua NF-P14s)
So I just got the HAF XB EVO case and moved my pc into it and I now find myself contemplating which fans to put in it. And looking at fans there is a ton of factors to choose from and I can't find any info on the stock fans to know what would be an upgrade or downgrade. The case informations specifies two extraflow 120mm case fans, but when you go to cooler master's extraflow 120mm case fans they are pwm with 4 pins, but the ones in my case are 3 pin, not pwm, so not an extraflow 120mm fan, can anybody tell me what the specs are on this fan so I don't replace them with something worse please as I want to put all pwm fans in my case with a fan controller. I can't send a support ticket or search the FAQs, website is pretty bad.
Hello All, Anyone know if the HAF XB EVO is still in production? I saw it around a month ago for about $100, but now prices have soard for what little is available. And where it's available, it's via scetchy 3rd party's. I have not gotten a response from CM support so far concerning this matter. Is it normal for case availability to fluctuate this much considering it's been around for years? Assuming it's in production, of course. Regards, ME
Hi, This is Second Mod, and my first Mod and first Water Cooled Build to be posted on the web. I call it Bumble Build from Transformers Bumble bee. Don't expect too much, I am a newbie but I would do my best to make this best as possible. I have also no Sponsors for for the parts to be used. So forgive my Old school specs.... Also Paint Mod already done before I got to know about this contest. Thanks to my friend who helped me possible for a powder coated paint. Bumble Build EVO XB I hope that I can complete this porject on time. Financial and Time matters... Wish me luck...
