  1. First New Build

Hi all. Because my 10 yr old PC won't support my games anymore I'm forced to buy or build. I have limited tech experience but have replaced some components and am not afraid to tackle the build. Actually excited about it. Question... I'd like to reuse my case. I like it. Cool Master RC-330-KKN1-GP Black SECC ATX Mid-Tower (wow lotta info). Will this MOBO fit, and is it compatable to other components I've chosen? It is 9.6" x 9.6" Present one is 12" x 9.6" http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA24G3KF8948&cm_re=gigabyte_ga-z170mx-gaming_5-_-13-128-844-_-Product I'd also like to add: CPU http://www.amazon.com/dp/B012M8M7TY/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=1M6BGN9ZJQIT5&coliid=I1PQ4T9CSK624O Graphics Card http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-Installed-Backplate-Graphics-04G-P4-3969-KR/dp/B015MW9D1W/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1455741315&sr=1-1&keywords=EVGA+GeForce+GTX+960+4GB+FTW+GAMING SSD http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820147373&cm_re=samsung_850_EVO_2.5_500GB_sata-_-20-147-373-_-Product Replys appreciated. Giggles at my inexperience choice of new components accepted with understanding. I plan on keeping the Sound card I have. Case has 4 fans....well ventilated Stephen

  3. hello ive owned my CM storm sirus 5.1 headset now for about 8 months ive never has any problems and has worked since the day i got them. basically the problem is if i play GMOD, Rocket league or ARK: survival evolved which are games very dependent on your ability to talk with people, but anyway what happens is when i hit the push to talk key my game on all three of the games above will just freeze for 10-30 seconds then it will recover and would have completely ruined the game for me. ive had this problem i think since i got windows 10 (I THINK) i have looked everywhere for a fix nobody in the entire gaming community is willing to give me the time of day to help me fix this. this is the last forum i can think of, the company of this headset the thing is ive seen so many other people with this problem on these exact games but nobody has posted a fix. there has to be a fix somewhere because something triggered this i just dont have a clue what. im just getting sick to death of it and i scraped up all the money i could for this headset and i cant afford to go out and just buy a new headset. so please if anybody out there know a fix i beg of you link me or let me know ;(
  4. Help! Please!

So i recently bought the CM Storm Devastator combo and the mouse works fine. The keyboard has problems. I plugged it in and it worked for the first time. But now whenever i plug it into my actual gaming computer it doesnt work. I am aware of the Scroll Lock/LED on/off button and whenever i press that it does not turn on. I plug it in and the PC says installing device drivers and then it tells me it does not recognize the device and it says driver install failed. When i do plug it in it turns on for 1/2 second and turns off. (using windows 7 64 bit)
  5. Requirement of New Gaming PSU

Hi all, I think with the upcoming Nvidia GeForce 900 series, DDR 4 Memory kits and 5th gen Proccessors it's time Cooler Master to think of a new Gaming Power Supply unit. The GXII and GXII Pro series are above par PSUs for current gaming rigs, but when new hardware and technology arrives (which will be soon) these PSUs would be less efficient and at doing the job. and maybe power rating may also be too much to bear. Since new hardware're gonna be equipped with higher frequencies and smaller components they may need extra attention on power supply + they will consume less voltage and less power too. like GTX 780 which is replaced by 30% faster GTX 980, power requirment will go down from 200W to 170W DDR 4 RAM now only consume 1.2V instead of DDR 3 consuming 1.5V (1.65V max) etc. So thought of hearing what you think about on a new Gaming Power Supply unit, what do want it to be like, what specs do you expect and what faults Cooler Master should overcome from. Please Share your ideas Thank You.
