  1. Hello, I've been doing some research and very excited to dive in and customize my own pc as soon as I feel comfortable. I came into this looking to upgrade from a laptop, and I'm completely amazed how many people are building beautiful setups! I haven't done very much PC gaming EVER (I think the last actual PC game I've installed was Plants vs Zombies, lol). mostly hardcore PS3, and game apps. I was close to getting a PS4, then figured I could just get a good PC and use it to multitask. I use the computer to mix music, internet, office programs, excel, video editing, youtube/Netflix, etc. Now that I've upgraded my interface, the mix playback of the DAW music studio software I use can't handle the amount of plug-ins and tracks going at once. CPU load was maxed, sound cuts out, and it takes forever to export WAV files. Budget is $650-ish -priorities are speed, semi-low noise without sacrificing cooling, connect multiple monitors if not my LED tv. This is what I've found so far, and PLEASE correct me if I'm choosing strange components, overestimating wattage, or missing anything! Thanks RYZEN 5 1600x COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 (EVO seemed to get the best reviews praise, or more expensive Noctua NH, or BeQuiet?) ASRock AB350M Pro 4 Micro USB 3.0 COOLER MASTER V650 Semi-Modular (650w) *GPU at reasonable price that will leave PSU headroom, (GeForce GTX 2gb too much, or dated? I'm not sure on this...) Case - Torn between DIYPC Silence-bk-window, BitFenix Neos, NZXT S340, and Fractal. (A case with sufficient airflow, cable grommets is a plus) 2x8GB DDR4 - Gskillz seem reasonable price-wise, unless I should look elsewhere 1 SSD & 1 HHD Wifi Card Thanks for reading!! Any help is greatly appreciated
  2. Hello dear Cooler Master Team, I´m from Germany and a big fan of your gorgeous cases, but first of all i´m sorry for my english. Most of all i like the MasterCase Maker 5 and really like to build a new rig with this nice case. Now i saw you have the ability to mount the gpu vertical and i really like it to show up the gaming heart of your rig. So i decided to choose the vertical graphic Card holder but now i´m on a big Problem with that. Why don´t you have a holder for SLI/Crossfire- Support for a 2-way System? Maybe i´m not the only one who like to have something like that. The case is big enough for this and the holder could be extended for this Support because of your modular case System. I just know only one other manufacture which has this Support but first of all i like your case much more and on the other side there is only an open case available.... Maybe this could be an interesting oppinion for you to be the first with this solution. Big greetings from Germany.
  3. Sponsors: (thank you so much Cooler Master Portugal) Hello everyone and welcome to Project Evo worklog! My name is Alberto, I'm from Portugal and its my 3º year in this contest. First of all I dont intend to win anything to be honest I do this as a hobby and I dont have a big bugget to add WC system and all that fancy stuff, but I got to start with something so hope you guys like this project Speak about the project, this year I will mod a Master Case 5 hand over by Cooler Master Portugal to which I thank a lot. The base concept is already decided, I'm still in planning fase, but everything is going pretty good in my opinion. For now I cant give you more information about the project since that is on planning fase. By the way I plan to make a Videolog about the project so it can be easy for me to explain and show you all the content. Concept 1.0 Concept 2.0 (in progress) Master Case 5 state Was I said alot needs to be explained but I decided to, a least, set my idea here to avoid copying. You can follow my page on facebook: https://www.facebook.com/tankiantheman or my youtube page: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCEtyqavc8IDQ3GZfjyRmJfA Best of luck for everyone! Tankian The Man

  5. Any news on a Cosmos III? I have the Cosmos II and am ready to build a new computer. I'd love a little more wiring space in the back of my next system. I thought I'd see if there was any news on a Cosmos III.
  6. I would like to know what the maximum motherboard size for the HAF XB II Evo Case is. I know that the Form Factor is ATX...I would like to know the maximum dimensions in inches. Thanks for any help!
  7. Dear colleagues! This is the first time I participate in this contest. I recently started modeling. This will be my fourth project. The project that I conceived, to connect the elements of the car Lamborghini with the body of the Сooller master. Let's see what happens. The project will be based on the corps (Cooler Master MasterCase Maker 5t).
  8. Hi everybody, so this Is my first time entering this competition. I'm pretty new to pc case building and modding and I only have one bigger project I've completed earlier so this will be alot of fun and off course a competition makes it even more interesting. I will be trying a special solution for the radiator mounts since i will make them as "one" unit with a sort of Push-Pull-Push configuration with the fans. This will require some pretty unusual mounting but i have an idea that I will try out and make work on this build. Feel free to let me know what you think of this idea (you can look at the drawings of what I mean). I've just started the scratch build I will enter in this competition so I will try to post new pictures of the progress as soon as I get stuff done. Hopefully you will like what I'm doing and I'm always open to constructive feedback and ideas, so don't hesitate to comment the build if you have any questions or anything you like to say The drawings I've added to this log are here to give you an idea of the final product of what I'm making so some things will probably change during the build and the colours are not decided yet. I was even thinking about making it a "Hotline Miami" colour theme at once but I will wait and see how i feel about that after a while. Hope you will enjoy my worklog and good luck to everyone out there!
  9. I'm want to buy HAF XB EVO cases for my new Ryzen Builds and have some questions. First the components I already have: - 4 * AMD Ryzen 7 1800X CPUs - 4 * ASUS Crosshair VI Hero motherboards - 4 * Corsair H115i coolers (280mm == 140mm x 2) - 16 * GSKILL 4266MHz TridentZ DDR4 SDRAM Q1: I see some retailers include "II" (Roman numeral 2) in the part number, while others do not, and others list both items for sale (also some say "rev 2"). What's the difference? Q2: The specs say the case supports 2 * 140mm fans. Does this mean the case supports my Corsair H115i coolers? Is the front the only possible place? Q3: Some retailers show the large fan in the top. Is this fan included? LED option? Q4: The specs say the case supports 4 * 3.5" drives and 4 * 2.5" drives. Does the case support 4 of each or 4 total of any combination of these sizes? Q5: I see a places on the front of the case where 2 * 3.5" drives appear to go. Where are the other two put? Q6: What is the maximum size of the large rear fan? The specs say 1 * 120mm ...OR... 2 * 80mm, but it looks like all three can be installed. Is this true? I will greatly appreciate answers so I can order my 4 cases. Thanks!
  10. Hello Everybody, I found this on the net and I was wondering how to modify the window like the Gif below, but with a twist. I'd like some advice to imprint a my personal logo on the window. Or if there are any services out there that would do this for me, please contact me.
  11. Here is a shot of the Cooler Master logo that I did by hand on the penal. This MasterCase Maker 5 is also the very first one to feature a built in water channel as a rear panel.

  12. Hello, I've recently purchased a JetFlo 120mm fan to mount on my case - rear mount. Now that I mounted it, I can't secure the side panel completely. It touches the JetFlo's round screw head and leaves a gap between side panel and casing. Can you guys let me know the type of screw it has? So I can find similar screws with a flat head and then secure the side panel. I tried the screws came with my casing and used for other case fans, but they didn't go with JetFlo. Came across similar screws, but not sure if it has the same thread or not - M3 / M4 / M5 Thanks.
  13. Hello all, You will be seeing updates in this post from time to time. This is the work log for the "Water Dispenser" scratch build. You know what water dispensers are... this time, you will see a water dispenser computer. The goal is build a great case with the following features: 1. Fit 360 radiator 2. Custom water cooling 3. Simple and elegant 4. Looks like a water dispenser (of course)
  14. So I've currently got a CM Storm trooper case (SGC-5000-KKN1) and was wondering if the H110i GT 280mm would fit or if I should go with the H100i GTX? I can't find anywhere it says it'll fit but I think it should so any help would be appreciated, links below http://www.corsair.com/en/hydro-series-h110i-gt-280mm-extreme-performance-liquid-cpu-cooler http://www.corsair.com/en/hydro-series-h100i-gtx-extreme-performance-liquid-cpu-cooler http://gaming.coolermaster.com/en/products/cases/trooper/
  15. Hi everyone, I have a Cooler Master Elite 430 case in my possesion and I am going to upgrade my motherboard soon. I saw that I am missing some "standoff" screws. Is there any possibility to get some extra screws ? And are they all the same size ?
  16. Hello! Is it possible to install an Intel Liquid Cooling System BXTS13X in an Elite 110 case? Here's a link to the installation guide of the BXTS13X: http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/processors/000005785.html Cheers, R.
  17. I have an older cooler master V8 that I just acquired (http://www.coolermaster.com/cooling/cpu-air-cooler/v8/), and it currently does not fit into my case.... Is there a list of cases that it will fit inside of? Can Cooler Master give me a list of suggested cases I could purchase?
  18. I bought this case from a local vendor but when I unboxed It I found it had one USB 3 and one USB 2. All the Images of this case and the specs show that It should have two USB 3 and no USB 2 It's not much of problem for me as I have four USB 3 in the motherboard but this raised my doubts about the case being genuine or is it a slightly different model of the case ? The Model number is RC-K282-KKN3

  20. I built my first PC a couple of years ago and my enthusiasm for making PCs has grown. I'm a university student who wants to get into the case modding hobby. I have no sponsors as I am new to the scene. Current status: PROJECT COMPLETED! Page 5 has final pics. I am going to start with a very ambitious project of fitting a HIGH-END gaming PC into not much larger than a popular gaming console with no thermal compromises. Intended for LANs or just as space-saving without losing on performance. Will fit most backpacks with ease along with peripherals and cables. The specs for the PC are as follows: PSU: Athena Power AP-MFATX50P8 500W 1U-FlexATX. Modified. MB: Gigabyte H87N-WiFi Rev2.0 CPU: Intel Core i5-4670 3.8GHz Cooler: Silverstone NT07-115X Fan: CoolerMaster XtraFlo Slim 120mm PWM RAM: Kingston ValueRAM Low-Profile 1600MHz 1x8GB DDR3 SSD: Samsung 840 EVO 500GB GPU: EVGA GTX 970 SuperClocked ACX2.0 (overclocked to 1500MHz core, 7400Mhz effective memory) WiFi: Using internal antennas. Realtek RTL8191SE 1x2 300Mbps 802.11 b/g/n half mini PCI-E card. Upgradable to an 'ac' card if needed. LEDs: Custom RGB LED controller linked to PC through the motherboard's Serial Port Header. The specs of the case are currently as follows (will update when changes are made): >>>>>>>>>>>> Volume: 5.07 Litres <<<<<<<<<<<<<< Dimensions: 311x267x61mm (WxDxH) Material: Clear Acrylic (10mm sides. 6mm top/bottom/divider.) Front Panel: Power button, HD Audio jacks, 2 x USB3.0 Ports. (RGB LEDs will serve as power light. HDD light will be on the motherboard.) Max GPU length: 255mm (will take either EVGA ACX2.0, Zotac 900-series or any brand's Mini-ITX variant.) Max CPU Cooler Height: 25mm (or 40mm without the slim 120mm case fan) Drive Support: One 2.5" SSD or Hard Drive Reference Dimensions: Game Consoles PS4: 305x274x53 4.45L (My case is just 14% larger than this) XBO: 343x263x80 7.22L (My case is 30% smaller than this) Silverstone Cases RVZ02: 350x350x80 9.80L SG06: 220x177x286 11.14L PS08: 355x168x400 23.86L Other details: Power socket for the PSU will be re-wired to a rear IEC socket. Don't want to have the power socket on the side of the case. Intel stock cooler does not fit (height). A Silverstone NT07-115X and a CoolerMaster XtraFlo Slim 120mm fan on the roof of the case blowing downwards (intake) will be used. This will provide fresh air to the undersized CPU cooler and cool the rest of the motherboard components. Rear panel will be tailored for this specific motherboard (or its Z87 variant). I will not be using the I/O shield as it cannot fit. Various lengths of M3 bolts will hold everything together. The divider will be held in place by slots built into the top and bottom pieces. The GPU will connect to the motherboard via a PCI-E 16x 2U Riser Card. The GPU will be held in place by the PCI-E Riser Card and a bracket on the rear of the case. As well as a rubber bumper near the end to keep it straight and reduce shock when transporting. The RGB LED controller will be an Arduino microcontroller (pro mini variant) and a custom MOSFET circuit along with a RS232 to TTL level shifter. It will connect to the Serial Port header of this motherboard. This can be controlled via a serial terminal from the desktop or via an easily-coded GUI. GPU PCI-E 6-pin power plugs will be partially in the wall of the case (they stick out a fair bit) as well as being cut down slightly to reduce their profile. A metal panel will be mounted over this hole. (Better explained visually.) Thermal Design: The CPU and GPU area is separated by a divider with only holes large enough for the PCI-E power cable and riser card. This will isolate heat from the GPU from entering the CPU area. The EVGA ACX2.0 sucks in air through the bottom and side of the case. It expels the hot air mostly out the Rear and Front of the case. All these areas are well vented. The CPU area is vented. The CoolerMaster XtraFlo 120mm fan will be blowing downwards and pushing out any small gaps and vents, as well as supplying fresh air directly to the small CPU cooler. The Power Supply sucks air in through its own vent through the bottom of the case. All air is expelled out the side of the case from the 40mm speed-controlled fan. Pictures speak better than words in this situation. Here are some SketchUp models of the design: Note: Some models from the SketchUp Warehouse were used to show where parts will go. It is for reference only. The GPU is a reference 780 that was scaled down to an EVGA ACX2.0 size. I was lucky to find my motherboard (the Z87 variant of it anyway which is physically the same) on the 3D Warehouse. NOTE: These are not the final renders. These will not be posted. LATEST PICS ON PAGE 3 ONWARDS Empty Front Rear Motherboard side (with PSU exhaust) Bottom Top Soda Can and DVD Case for size. Threaded M3 inserts that will be glued into holes in the sides of the acrylic pieces. Tiny Silverstone NT07-115X Cooler. Slightly louder than Intel Stock cooler. With EQUAL performance and almost half the height. I am touching the plastic backplate. I use anti-static gear CoolerMaster XtraFlo Slim 120mm PWM fan. Extremely quiet and high airflow in a thin package helps make this build possible. Current status: PROJECT COMPLETED! Page 5 has final pics. :3
  21. Where can i get the windowed version of the N200 or better yet since i already have the case can I just get a windowed side panel?
  22. Ok, before I screw this build up, all parts are Cooler Master. Haf 912 case with MegaFlow 200mm Fan & Seidon 120v cpu cooler. The 200mm fan will not fit as an exhaust at the top of the 912 case with the liquid cooler installed, right? Looks like not even (2) 120mm fans will fit on the top even if I have the Seidon cooler in push or push/pull config (2 fans). Only (1) 120mm will fit. I guess I just wasted money on the 200mm fan. I already have one in the front. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
  23. Worklog. coming soon... wait for me plz
  24. i bought this case and want to order cosmos 2 parts to mod it with but dont know what case it is.as far as i can tell its a cosmos of some sort but cant find it online heres pics.
  25. Hi, I have a Cooler Master RC-690-KKN1-GP Black SECC/ ABS ATX Mid Tower Computer Case and I would like to buy a side panel window, but I can´t find one. Should I buy a compatible one, if so wich one would fit Thanks
