  2. "Chrono Master" - project Hello friends! Chrono Master is a time machine meant to signify the current moment and as the time itself, meant to give us a picture of what the modding future can look like. Spec list: Cooler Master MasterCase Pro 5 Cooler Master V750 Intel i7 5820k ASRock X99 Taichi Avexir Core DDR4 16Gb Transcend 370s SSD Asus GTX970 Strix Alphacool watercooling BIG THANKS to sponsors: COOLER MASTER, AQUATUNING, ALPHACOOL, ASROCK, TRANSCEND, AVEXIR THE FINAL PHOTOS ARE ON PAGE 7 and 8 !!!
  3. Oy! This mod is something that I've been wanting to build for some time. It is a tribute to the cooler master ammo 533 case. The project is going to be an evolution from the Ammo series, both from an engineering and design standpoint. Personally I have been part of the Mekatronix Works (mktrx) case-mod team. We've previously participated in a number of regional events, in the last couple of years. Before that it was mostly custom watercooling and jerry-rigging our cases to fit the components. I am going to be using a similar HW monitor display system, in-build into the case as one of our previous projects "Tek'tonic III" (link below) The previous builds I have worked at were more of an abstract design and served no purpose in utility. With this competition I have the chance to build my system into something that will feed the nostalgia of my lanparty days. The materials I will be using: Aluminium, Plexi, Dibond and Carbon fiber reinforced ABS. previous builds: Tek'tonic Tek'tonic III Rog COOPER
  4. Hello, everybody, I am bjpc, (Bernd Joachim Puwalski, 41, called Jo) and want to invite you to my ITX- project "Maker Theater"! It is thankfully dedicated to the Masterliquid Maker 92, that was the base-stone for this project and has been sponsored by Cooler Master Germany. It will be a custom-welded frame case with a 1:87 scaled diorama on top. Due to the fact, the AMD based ITX build shall be used as a HTPC, the diorama will show a classic cinema scene- inviting to see movies like "Rebel without a case" or "The Modfather". The case itself, I will try to keep as compact, as possible, with a thin- frame- construction, that is closed only by acrylic panels in fluorescent blue. This log will be kept updated, from now, to display, how my vision of a "Maker Theater" will look like. Update 06.04.:.... after starting this work log in February, more than 60 % of the project are done now. I have prepared the rest, and all materials are waiting, to be used. So I can start this work log updated with the Front- View of the "Maker Theater"- be welcome there! bjpc Here pretty much of the parts and material so far is shown. The 1:87 scaled models, in my opinion, have just the right resolution to fit nicely to the hardware, for making the desired effect. UPDATE 18.02.2017 Now, with some further planning, I got, in addition to the theater kit, this skyscraper- building-site kit. In my imagination, it will frame the Masterliquid Maker, even better than having it housed by the cinema like I firstly started. The missing parts for the build now are there- steel in diameter 10x10 for the frame and 15x20x2 for mounting parts, as well as 20x2 for planning blindspots. I will weld with 1.6 mm rutile electrodes. To set highlights, I enlarged my Dremel Machine Fleet by the Engraver, that for sure will allow me, leaving my personal finish to the frame and other parts. Needless to say, that relying on Dremel for a mod or scratch build is the safest way to succeed in any changes or producing steps made, and no news, at all. The Powers, Reset- and Lighting- vandalism switches come with the small diameter of 16mm and just are perfect for my needs. Just sitting around.... But in the background, the acrylic, I plan to use for covering the case is to be seen: a blueish fluorescent panel, whose polished edges should glow nicely, when lighted from inside The Vallejo color sets are for airbrush as well as for paint- brush and will make a close-to-realistic appearance possible, away from "looking-like-plastic" only. With the fine-brush- set, I should have nice results, I hope. The aluminum case- feet, at last just will make a good look in the end. With the truck being the first modded part, there obviously is a thought of mine displayed... I am working on it- and attending to this year's Case Mod World Series really is something, I dream of. Anyway, I will just keep this build log up-to-date and we will see, what I can post next, here... With being officially registered to the Case Mod World Series 2017, I will start with this project in Scratch Category. Thank you, Cooler Master, for confirming it. Update March, 1st 2017: As the first very modding step, I changed the tubing of the Masterliquid Maker 92, and set the Ram to its watercoolers. Next step shall be using Leaf Silver, to set highlights I also started with assembling the Theater kit With receiving more and more hardware, now some specs come into focus as well. The system will be powered by this: The APU A10 7890K was provided by AMD- I am really glad, they decided, to support me here. And thankful. The APU will find place on an Asrock A-88M-ITX/ac board The hard discs- 2TB WD Black are sponsored by Western Digital- thank you, for giving me this chance. When it comes to peripheral water cooling, the parts all have been supplied by Alphacool International and Aquatuning- here for cooling HDD´s and RAM: For the proper preparation of the loop and the perfect look, Mayhems helped me with sending me Blitz Kits for preparation as well as Pastel liquid and Ultrapure Water, even when the to be used pastel black already was provided by Aquatuning. I think it will be a good combination, in the end- Thank you, to Alphacool, Aquatuning, and Mayhems at all! With the build from scratch is not complete of course, Cooler Master gave me these marvelous peripherals, on top- I really appreciate it, thank you so much! For now, that´s pretty much it- there will be the welding work coming up next, and detailing, of course. The Frame base with the angled arms was the start of the construction: With the base frame welded, a first test fit was possible Now some progress can be shown: the mainboard as well as the two WD Black HDD´s, set on an Alphacool PSU cooler, are carried by the frame, now. It soon is about to fine-sand and lack-off the frame and the body will be ready. A part of the acrylic side windows are semi-fitted, already, and the windowing of the case can be accomplished soon. Today, I added the mounting rails for the radiator, and set the PSU into the Theater, for convenient access 2nd of April: Today I finished the RAM- and HDD- loop from Alphacool- run by a DC- LT pump that is fed by an eloquent pump-top reservoir, two main tubes are set below the HDD- cooler. The loop has been prepared with the Mayhems Blitz Kit and is ready for be taken apart again, for the frame final- painting. The pictures show the inspection by the planning department, per usual The Masterliquid Maker 92 AIO CPU- cooler was up to be finished, after the leaf- silver application, I set some color highlights. Only a proper cable- management left to do, and the integration into the skyscraper- building- site around it. Loving details: Get your tickets for the premiere now- pre-sale has opened! Now, after adding the majority of the front details- here is an impression of a night shift at the Maker Theater: And here is the latest result- Ticket counter and visible interior like Concession finished, also lighting and weathering: With now having finished pretty much everything of the cinema building, it is time to start with the building site next to it...after the already finished crane, I assembled a concrete truck, and tried to give it a real look....
  5. Hello friends, I start a new project, this time to scratch build! Expected a lot of work on aluminum, this will be something new and exciting. With this project I'm competing at this year's "Cooler Master WS 20017" contest. Hardware: Intel I7 6700K Gigabyte AORUS Z270X - Gaiming 9 Kingston Predator DDR4 4x4Gb 2400Mhz CL12 Intel SSD Series5 240Gb RAID0 Sapphire Radeon RX480 CF CM V1200 Platinum EKWB watercooling components for all system Every day you will have the opportunity to see how the work goes on, so stay tuned and enjoy
  6. Greetings! I'm SamCa, modder from Philippines. This will be my official entry for Cooler Master Case Mod World Series 2017 Scratch build category Huge thanks to EVGA for the support! I will be building project "Winged Victory of Mercy" The mod was inspired from the the greatest masterpiece of Hellenistic sculpture, Winged Victory of Samothrace... ....with a mix. The design will be combined with Angela Zeigler aka Mercy (from Overwatch). I decided to pick her because she perfectly fits as the "modern angel" of the mod. SPECS: Intel Core i7 6700 EVGA Z270 FTW K EVGA GTX 1070 FTW EVGA 16GB DDR4-2666 EVGA SUPERNOVA G3 1000W COOLERMASTER MASTERFAN PRO 120 Western Digital 1TB BYSKI watercooling parts I modeled her into the looks of the statue and the planned scratch case. I will be using metal bars for it's base to support the motherboard, gpu, psu, rads ,reservoirs and specially the radiator . The Motherboard is placed below together with the reservoir and gpu. The storage devices and psu will be inside the body. (I will make a mechanism in which i could open the body to expose the storage parts and psu) the radiator is placed at the top as well the fans with it. The watercooling tubes will be sketched throughout the build. For the armor, I will be using fiberglass and resin. For the other details like the wings, i will be using acrylic sheets.
  7. Hello World! This mod is based on the contrast between nature and electronics. In the stump we're going to develop a mid-priced hardware. The aim is to portray the soul of an electronic shaft. MOD Coming Soon...

PROJECT : THE BATTLESHIP Hi everyone. I’am from Malaysia . This is my first ever modding/design for case-mod event. I’am not very good in English so they might have bad spelling and sometimes bad for me to describe something. I will try to give my best to communicate. I try to give the best on my project . My project description . Conceptual and reference of my project is about BATTLESHIP 2012(movie). There is reason why I choose this movie. I like the way they create strategy to fight the alien battleship I will build something similar with alien spaceship from battleship movie. Idea Development Sketch and 3d drawing – Design might changed from time to time ( added and adjustment ) and gpu position will adjust for good viewing. Machine and equipment All part of my design will be use multiple type of manufacturing process and also manual making. I will using a wire-cut machine to cut the metal plate and use bending machine to bend the body cover. Part of jaw will be use 3d printing . all touch up and simple part will be use manual. Build LOG- [in progress] Hope next week i can update with Base Structure.
  9. So, this is my latest computer case! It will be a fully enclosed, modular, simulator style computer! Project started on 10-17-2016. I will update this post, as time and the project progresses. Currently, I have built most of the center framework and will be working on the doors very soon. I'm planning on only taking around a month or two to complete this project, provided I can find the time and afford the materials and components. I'm creating the frame out of square, aluminum tubing. This aluminum is basically, old frame kits from projection screens that have been retired and tossed out by my employer. I do plan to weld all of the joints, but for now, I have used screws and brackets to secure everything together. I'm happy to report that at the current moment, Ii can hang by the two crossbars on top, with all of my weight (240lbs) with very little flex, so I think it is plenty rigid. I haven't completely decided if I will do the triple screen setup or go with a single, large, curved display in the center. That may be one of the final decisions as it gets closer to completion. I plan to make as much material as I can to be modular. This will not be a system that I plan to keep for myself, so I want to keep the whole thing easily upgradable and easy to attach any number of input devices and components to the chassis. My renders do not show my plans for the doors, the keyboard tray, the support beam for a steering wheel and other such devices as of yet, but those will be included. Again, this is a work in progress, but I hope to have this exciting build ready to view and use, in the very near future. Tell me what ya think! [/quote]
  10. As a Half Life 2 fan, i have an obligation to make a case mod around the best fps game that has ever released. I've been thinking about it since my last case mod that participated in an international (2012) event (sadly it was never completed as the website that the competition held got issues as far as i can remember). So, in a few words, i will be fusing a few techniques of mine and some others in order to achieve the best result that i imagined and thinking about. Rusting, crackle paint, scorched looked exterior side panel and color splash or even some paintbrush are the main tools to achieve something great and most of all something that i have always been dreaming of. So, Half Life 2: Gordon Freeman edition is commencing!! I will soon be posting pictures, so be patient and i hope that i fulfill my dream since 2012 and beyond!! The "victim" will be a Cavalier case!!
  11. case mod world series 2017

We are a team of two guys from South Africa trying this for the first time. We have a wide range of ideas and putting them to use. For now we are limited on what to use. But we are making the best of what we have.

  13. Hello everyone ! I am a french modder and I want to introduce you my project ! The theme will be "polygon" I want to create a mod very airy, with a design you won't get tired of. To achieve this, I will play with both sides of the mod. My goal is to really entertain the viewer from the front, from the right as well as from the left. I will transform a lot the case while maintaining the main lines, so it remains recognizable. To do so, I will use sheets of aluminium, steel, synthetic glass, paint, led, etc.. I chose the "MasterBox 5T", because it is less common on this competition, and furthermore, I think there is a huge potential for modding. Additionally its basic forms glue tightly to my themes. There isn't too many right angles, and it has many facets . The configuration will be : Case ==========> MasterBox 5t Motherboard ====> Rog Strix z270g Gaming 'Asus Sponsor' Microprocessor ==> Intel Core i7-7700k Graphic card ====> Rog Strix Gtx 1050ti 4Gb Gaming 'Asus Sponsor' Memory ddr4 ====> not defined Power supply ====> Corsair SF600 (no choice for format and I needed a powerful one) Solid-state drive ==> Samsung SSD 960 EVO M.2 250GO Hard disk =======> not defined Good luck to everyone !

  18. Here I will upload my build process of a Russian naval(?) radio found at a knickknack shop. No idea how it got to ZA, not asking where it came from (wish I knew what stories it told), and I'm gonna shred the insides. edit: Uploading my own pictures with some slight progress report, at least it makes for a better header than a stock image off the internet.

  20. It's been 2015 since BB-8 was introduced in Star Wars Franchise, since then I've been a fan of this cute droid and been a member of BB-8 Builders Club since last year in Facebook. But due to my busy schedule I haven't started to make a full size BB-8 last year. But this time since its my 10th year(2007-2017) in assembling personal computer. I've decided to make a static one because I'm upgrading my machine soon and this also is my first time to make my own mod and a new Star Wars movie will be launched this 2017. I also searched for BB-8 Computer case and there is no one image available online and I hope that this is the First Full Size BB-8 Computer Case that will be build. This droid is simple but complicated to build, but with the help of 3d printing and Autodesk Fusion 360 we can make accurate parts that suites our needs. This is also the 25th year of Cooler Master so I decided to make this build special, unique and futuristic projection technology that anyone would love. Follow my quest in building this very cute droid.
