  1. Hello everyone, I’m AK from Taiwan. I want to create a simple and elegant design concept. This year I will be modding the C700M and experimenting with using handmade leather and attempting to create a custom resevoir made out of wood. Whilst making it look modern, clean and sleek. Specs: COOLER MASTER COSMOS C700M COOLER MASTER V1300 PLATINUM NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 2080 Ti ASUS ROG RAMPAGE VI EXTREME OMEGA G.SKILL TRIDENT Z ROYAL 8GX8 SEAGATE FIRECUDA 510 SSD 2TB INTEL I9 9980XE Water cooling: EK WATER BLOCKS Massive thanks to Cooler Master, ASUS Republic of Gamers, NVIDIA GeForce Taiwan, G.SKILL, Seagate, EK Water Blocks, for supporting my projects.
  2. Hello! My name is Drew, I'm a case modding hobbyist. For this build I wanted to do something more simple and clean, I decided on a monochromatic theme with no RGB. I decided on using chrome tubing for the first time and I designed a custom sl600m distro plate for the case as well. The distro plate was created by 3D scanning the case and then modeling around it. i wanted minimal tubing runs hense the secondary chamber in the plate. The goal of this build is to be able to easily swap out coolant colors and for it to stay just as clean as with just black. The build features the following specs: Cooler Master SL600M Ryzen R9 3900x 32gb DDR4 Corsair Dominator Platinum Ram Nvidia GTX 1080 ti MSI x470 Gaming AC Motherboard Watercooling parts include: EKWB Alphacool My own custom work If you have any questions on the build please let me know! Initial product Shot Vinyl Wrapped CPU Block The custom distro plate that i had designed. Picture of the plate getting milled. After getting it made by Clockwork Industries. Picture of the plate installed and some tubing ran. Loop Complete Started loop filling with purple fluid. Going to be changed to black. New Cables from Mainframe Customs Build should be done the weekend of the 21st, stay tuned!
  3. I had this computer for almost one year. I really love the H500M case. I had an AIO cooler master ML 240 RGB. I had a dream of making a custom water cooled loop in it. Finally had the money to do so. I ordered everything from EK water block. While I was waiting for the parts to arrive, I relocated my 2,5 inch SSD to the back. I fabricated a mount for the reservoir with pieces of metal. Then I received the shippement from EK. So I had Everything I needed to build my dream machine.
  4. So, not 100% sure what i'm going to do yet but i'm building a new pc using an old CM stacker 830, just entering for the fun defiantly way outclasses by competitors here i'm pretty much a noob when it comes to modding :). anyways less words more pics More to come ;D
  5. With the new Dark Tower movie coming up this summer, based on the series by Stephen King, I got really excited. Excited enough to do a Dark Tower themed mod. But I found I still had some excitement left over...enough for maybe another mod...hmmm... And so starts the story of the Crimson King, or rather, my Crimson King mod. The Crimson King of the Dark Tower series is the main antagonist. Similar to our notion of Satan, the Crimson King is a shape-shifter and referred to as "the great scuttering spider-king". He embodies the ideas of chaos, anarchy, and evil. Though Roland, The Gunslinger, faces many different foes on his journey to the Dark Tower, the Crimson King is the orchestrator of it all. In fact, he is the cause for the decay of Roland's world, hoping to bring down the Dark Tower and bring about Discordia, or a state of chaos and anarchy. The same chaos and anarchy that Roland is trying to stop. The Crimson King is the evil to Roland's good, the black to Roland's white. In an interesting side note, a lot of characters from the Dark Tower series cross over to other King novels, like Father Callahan from King's Salem's Lot. The Crimson King first appeared in Insomnia, and shares the characteristic shape-shifting and final spider-like appearance of Pennywise, or It, from King's It. To capture the evil vs. good relationship of the Crimson King to the Gunslinger, I'm going to be using the same Cooler Master Mastercase5 Maker and basic design that my Gunslinger build is using, but tweaked a bit. Mirrored, to capture their opposite sides of the spectrum, but using similar hardware and themed to the Crimson King. This build will be the evil twin or, perhaps, the doppelganger of the Gunslinger. So, let's start off with a case...a Mastercase.
  6. “The man in black fled across the desert and the gunslinger followed.” The opening line from The Gunslinger, the first book in Stephen Kings epic that follows the quest of Roland Deschain, the Gunslinger, for the Dark Tower. The Dark Tower series has to be my favorite, mixing western, sci-fi, apocalypse, magic, the current world, and quite a few characters from King's other books, and even King himself, into one big stew of a story. It's amazing. *Except for the lobster things. Da-da-chum. I hated Stephen King for a few days after that. If you've read the stories, you'll know. But with the new Dark Tower movie slated to come out next year and the stars of that movie tweeting things like: And even King telling us that this is the next time around... I haven't been this excited for a movie for a while. And with so much story to take from, I thought, this might be a great idea for a mod. Or even two... So let's get started on The Gunslinger.
  7. Hey everyone! Been a while since posting a new log, but I recently had an amazing opportunity to do a mod for Cooler Masters suite at CES2017! Even as busy as I have been I couldn't pass on the offer. The time frame was extremely limited, I think after all the parts arrived I had about 5-6 days to build this that is why I am posting the log now even though the build is finished, I would of never had the time to do it while working. Even with the constraint on time, I still manage to pack this Mastercase 5t with some cool stuff so lets take a look shall we? The theme is something I always wanted to play around with, just creating a build with sacred geometry and patterned polygons through out. I believe its rather appealing to look at, and somewhat draws you in to keep looking. It is a rather open ended theme and can go many directions so I figured it was something I could use to make a mod in less than a week. So first off this would of never been possible without Cooler Master as well as the other companies who pitched in to help get this project done! Cooler Master - Mastercase 5t, v1000 Power Supply, and 6 Jetflow Fans. Nvidia - 2x EVGA GTX 960 Avexir - 16GB Blitz DDR4 Ram, and S100 SSD Primochill - Maxcord Paracord, Revolver SX Fittings, D5 Pump, D5 Pump Top and mount, PETG Tubing, and True White Opaque Coolant. Swiftech - Apogee X2 CPU Block, and Extreme Performance 360mm Radiator. Thank you all so much! So heading into the work, unboxed everything and started started installing to get a feel for it. (Originally planned on the Gaming M7 motherboard from MSI but the board ended up being DOA, so right before filling the loop I had to switch it out.) (I was also going to use 1 msi 960 before Nvidia got on board) Now into the modding we go! First was a quick paint job on the Primochill pump brackets. Then on the case I first peeled the foam off the front cover then CNC cut some patterns on the front backed with painted mod mesh for some enhanced front airflow for the radiator to be placed in the front of the case. The next mod was a magnetic power supply shroud made of laser cut acrylic for the front of the case. I used 1/8" red for the base and 1/16" black on top to fit flush right behind the tempered glass. The Top layer caps the magnets and allow them to be glued in place. After that I installed the radiator, and made a custom grill with 2 layers of laser cut acrylic glued together. Moving right along with the watercooling I made 2 of my favorite things to make, water manifolds! I went with the glued style this time because of time constraints and I didn't want to worry about possible o-ring leaks or anything. I pocketed out the base which was .5" acrylic, then laser cut a .125" cover plate, and a 1.25" trim to cover the glue bubbles. Then I sandwiched them all together with Weldon 4 and tapped the fitting holes. Next up was the graphics car back plate, combined into a gpu shroud, combined with a SSD mount and a d5 pump mount lol. Nvidia was able to spare 2 960s for the build, they happened to be the ITX cards. So I designed this shroud to fill out the case a bit more and incorporate the other hardware. Then I made some cable extensions and wire everything up! After cables came the tubing! Then it was time to fill er up!! One last thing before wrapping it up. I made a window skin for the back door panel. Since the tempered glass is very nice, I didn't want to remove it, and I didn't want to obstruct the front window, so on the back I made a magnetic skin to bring the theme all the way around the build. I laser cut acrylic, layered it, and embedded magnets just like the psu shroud. Then I built a matching show plaque, and crated it up for shipment! Here is a few pics from CES! That is it for this update! I hope you enjoyed it! It was so much fun and really pushed me to accomplish as much as I could in only 6 days! I am grateful for the opportunity a look forward to the next collaboration! Also expect to see some Mastercase accessories available soon on my website! I will be back with a final photo update in the next few days to a week! Also I will be doing Cyprus29 photos as well to be on the look out for that update also! Take care see ya in the next update!
