  1. Hello, I tried to use the global search to find an existing topic whitout success so I create this one. I would like to know if it is possible to add a second fan on the back of the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black Edition to do push/pull in order to optimise air flow. Do you think that possible and benefic ? According to the slitter and the other fan fixing system I found in the box, I am wondering if it is a suggestion from Cooler Master. Sorry for my english, it is not my mother language. Thanks
  2. Hello all, I have a quick question. I was thinking about getting the H500M for my next build along with a ML360R. I’m not sure however how to connect all my RGB. In total I will be using a total of six RGB fans - the three that come with the AIO, the two 200mm RGB fans that come with the case and another RGB fan at the rear. Is it possible for me to connect them all with the MasterFan ARGB and PWM hub sold separately? And how would I go about connecting the hub to my motherboard? Thanks.
  3. I requested a support ticket about two months ago and received a response but cannot comment or progress any further with said support ticket. I click on add comment and type my response but nothing appears after I click accept. Since then my ticket has been closed and I've requested a new ticket but I can't get any further help because of this issue with comments. I'd really like to find a solution to the problem with my case fans but support appears to not be a viable option..
  4. I am finding that two of the three fans on my ML360R start to buzz at speeds between 1000 rpm to 1300 rpm when I adjust the speeds in the AORUS Pro Smart Fan BIOS control and they randomly buzz when I am in Windows 10. The way to stop them from buzzing in Windows 10 is to reboot my computer. Setting the fans to run at 1400 rpm in the BIOS does not mean that I don't get the buzz when I run Windows 10. This is a real PITA as it is a loud buzz. Does anyone else have this kind of problem? Are the fans failing? This Cooler is only 2 weeks old.
  5. So i bought 2 Cooler Master MasterFan MF120 HALO case fans. But I didn't look properly and it was ARGB not RGB, but still it was no problem because on my motherboard (MSI MPG Z390 Gaming Pro Carbon) there is a JRAINBOW1 port. I thought that it would work, but it didn't. Still no problem i searched on the internet and someone recommenden the Cooler Master ARGB Led Small Controller. So i did some research and thougt it will work. So i bougt it. Today it arrived and I directly installed it so I connected everything and when i powered on my pc the fans light up blue. When I pressed on the cycle button on the controller nothing happend, so I downloaded the latest firmware and installed it. Still nothing changed it stayed blue. At this point the controller was connected to the JRAINBOW1 port on my motherboard. So i started over, but this time i connected it with only USB and SATA to my computer.(I did connect the fans) The fans still light up blue and still didn't change with the controller. I installed MasterPlus, with USB it saw the controller but without USB and with the controller connected to the JRAINBOW1 port it didn't show up.(I don't know if this is supossed to happen or a problem) If I used the software with the USB connected it showed up, but only with A1 not A2, A3 or A4 like i saw in this video. And if i changed the lighting in MasterPlus nothing changed again. So what could be the problem? MB311 ARGB Fans

I need help with my brand new case because the front 2 fans are not working and I can’t find the connection to the motherboard I have. Thank you.
  8. I, specifically have this fan from my q300l (model no. 202000360-GP) and I'm struggling to find anywhere that says its specs.
  9. I recently bought a Cooler Master SF120R ARGB case fan and an Addresable RGB LED small controller, because my mobo doesn't have a 3-pin ARGB header. I connected all the cables correctly, but the fan still isn't lighting up. I've been searching for hours on the forums, but I couldn't find anything! Any help would be greatly appreciated!
  10. Hi everyone, I am pretty new to all of this about A-RGB. Last PC I built was 12 years ago. I decided to make my new shinny battle station. I bought CM SL600M case, Asus Z390E mother board and 2 sets of MASTERFAN MF120R ARGB 3IN1. There was two fans already in case, but I decided not to combine them with some other kind of fans, so I decided to put all 6 A-RGB fans in case, and remove stock fans. I already found out that there will be a problem connecting both sets of A-RGB fans. First of all, there is some A-RGB controller which comes in set which I don't want to use (and I don't know exactly how to use it). And if I wanted to use, I cannot connect them both on motherboard. Therefore I decided to search the internet, but no use of that. I couldn't find any solution for my problem. The only thing I found is that there is some kind of hub called MASTERFAN ARGB AND PWM HUB, but could not find instructions for that, so I don't know how to use it with Asus Aura, not with CM software. I was left confused with how to connect it to my motherboard with 3 pins on motherboard and with 2 pins on hub side for A-RGB. If somebody has an idea how to connect 2 sets of MASTERFAN MF120R ARGB 3IN1 with Asus Z390E motherboard using Aura header and to tell me what more of equipment do I need (ex. splitter cables, hubs...), please let me know. I count on you guys!
  11. Hey Guys, Today, after a year and a half of ownership, with the case cover off, I noticed that my fans are turned off when the fan selector is set to L. Is that normal? I assumed that the fans had power settings e.g low power would spin at half the rate, not turn them off! Any ideas? Cheers
  12. I am building a new PC with the HAF XB EVO case using the Corsair H115i RGB Platinum and I am trying to figure out the best fan configuration to optimize cooling for Ryzen 3900X G.Skill Trident Neo 3600Mhz @ 14-15-15-35 Asus Crosshair Hero VIII X570 Gigabyte Gaming OC 5700XT I plan on using this to have an additional intake from the left side of the case pointed directly at the GPU, but I am unsure of how this will affect the overall airflow in the case with the radiator fan right behind it. For fans I have 2x Corsiar H115i stock fans (97 CFM @ 3.0 static pressure) 3x Noctua NF-P14s (78.7 CFM @ 1.91 static pressure) 3x Corsair LL120 (43.25 CFM @ 1.61 static pressure) 1x Noctua NF-A20 (86.5 CFM @ 1.08 static Pressure) 3x Noctua NF-12 Industrial PPC 2000 (107.5 CFM @ 4.18 static pressure) My first thought was: Intake (244 CFM): Front: 194 CFM @ 3.0 static pressure (2x Corsair H115i stock fans pushing) > 27mm radiator > 157.4 CFM @ 1.91 static pressure (2x Noctua NFP14s pulling) Side: 86.6 CFM @ 1.61 static pressure (2x Corsair LL120) Exhaust (129.8 CFM): Top: 86.5 CFM @ 1.08 static pressure (Noctua NF-A20) Rear: 43.3 CFM @ 1.61 static pressure (LL120) NOTE: I prefer this could be replaced with a 78.7 CFM @ 1.91 static pressure (Noctua NF-P14s) My other thought was to move Noctua NF-P14s from the radiator to side intake (replacing the LL120s there) Intake (351.4 CFM): Front: 194 CFM @ 3.0 static pressure (2x Corsair H115i stock fans pushing) > 27mm radiator > pulling) Side: 157.4 CFM @ 1.91 static pressure (2x Noctua NFP14s) Exhaust (129.8 CFM): Top: 86.5 CFM @ 1.08 static pressure (Noctual NF-A20) Rear: 43.3 CFM @ 1.61 static pressure (LL120) NOTE: I prefer this could be replaced with a 78.7 CFM @ 1.91 static pressure (Noctua NF-P14s)
  13. So, the Cosmos C700p black edition supports two 5.25" bays. However, in order to use the second slot you have to remove the front fan bracket as it is too tall. Does anyone know if a shorter bracket is available? It is a little stupid to be stuck having no intake fans on the front of this case in order to use a disk drive and a card reader.
  14. Hello everyone I am planning to mount a PC with CM RGB, as I have been looking on internet I can't mount 2 CM controllers so the solution should be splitters. So, I make this topic to make sure my idea can work. There are 3 front fans (MasterBox MB530P) 2 front fans splitted = 1 connector for Controller The connector explained above splitted to the third front fan = 1+1 connector, total 2 Split those 2 splitted connectors making it a total of 1 connector to the controller 2 CPU fans splitted = 1 connector for controller, total 2 2 top fans splitted = 1 connector for controller, total 3 Rear fan, making it a total of 4. Can it work? I assume the splitted fans will work equally Thank you

    case fans to loud

hello. i was wondering how to turn down the fan speeds on my case fans because there very loud an i can stream with it or record. thank you.
  17. Hi, So I bought the Cooler master H500 case and I'm looking to upgrade the front 200mm case fans with ARGB ones, like the ones on the H500m. The problem that I'm having is I can't find them, so I'm wondering if I could order it from somewhere (I've checked Amazon, Newegg). The reason why is when all the lights sync up the front fan being regular RGB flash when all the others are doing the animations.
  18. hello, I recentley bought the cooler master mf120 argb fans. The problem is that they don´t light up. I am using a Gigabyte Aorus Elite mainboard. The only thing i can think of that is wrong is the connection of the rgb cable on my motherboard Thanks for your help
  19. So I just got the HAF XB EVO case and moved my pc into it and I now find myself contemplating which fans to put in it. And looking at fans there is a ton of factors to choose from and I can't find any info on the stock fans to know what would be an upgrade or downgrade. The case informations specifies two extraflow 120mm case fans, but when you go to cooler master's extraflow 120mm case fans they are pwm with 4 pins, but the ones in my case are 3 pin, not pwm, so not an extraflow 120mm fan, can anybody tell me what the specs are on this fan so I don't replace them with something worse please as I want to put all pwm fans in my case with a fan controller. I can't send a support ticket or search the FAQs, website is pretty bad.
  20. Hi, How many fans/led trips/etc can be used by the built-in argb controller of the MB530P case? Cant find any reliable sources.
  21. I have been a very happy customer for several years now of a HAF 932 case. The side fan has gotten increasingly louder to the point that it needs to be replaced. Is there a standard replacement fan sold by coolermaster or another brand folks would recommend? The specs are: Side: 230 x 30 mm standard fan x 1 / 700 rpm / 19 dBA (supports 120 mm fan x 4) I can find a lot of 200mm fans online, but am not sure if they would fit the case for screwing in. Also, do you recommend a CM replacement or another brand? Thank you in advance for any help.
  22. i just recently bought and installed a coolermaster masterliquid240l and connected it all up to the pc and found that the fans are extremely loud, like really loud. I have tried going into the BIOS and changing the fan speeds there but nothing turned them down. this very annoying seeing as some people said in the reviews on amazon saying that the fans were really quiet, did i do something wrong? i just followed the manual, thats all.
  23. Hello there I want to buy new case fans since one of my fans came faulty and doesn't work but I wanted to buy new ones anyway but I don't Understand how to remove the pre installed RGB fans on the front
  24. I recently bought a 3-pack of the MF120R-ARGB fans, planning on hooking them up to the addressable RGB header on my ASRock B450 Fatal1ty Gaming K4 motherboard and using the ASRock software to control the lighting settings. However, the lighting does not respond to any input that I put into the RGB settings in the software. This surprises me, as on both on the Cooler Master page of the product and the retailer page where I bought it, ASRock software is explicitly outlined as compatible with the ARGB lighting of these fans. Besides not responding to my software, the fans work perfectly fine--they respond to the included controller's light settings, and adjust their speeds according to my PWM settings. I'm just not sure why the fans aren't following the software settings. Everything is plugged in and installed as dictated in the manual. When I press the button on the manual controller that tells the fans to accept motherboard-fed lighting instructions, the lights just turn off and stay off, no matter what I do in the software. Can anyone point me in the right direction, so that I can get my lighting working properly? Or is there somehow something else I may be missing entirely? Thanks. The product page on the Cooler Master site for the fans is: The Amazon page where I bought the fans from:
  25. Recently built a system with the Maker 5 case. I have the three chassis fans plugged into the controller on the backside of the case and have the 2/4 molex power cable connected, however, none of the fans are running. I've tested all the fans by plugging them directly into fan power cables and they run fine, but no luck on the controller. The front panel USB 2.0 header is not currently connected as my motherboard only has one of these headers and it's needed for my H110i AIO cooler. I'm wondering if that's the issue and the controller requires that USB somehow. Is there something else I'm missing and does anyone know exactly what needs to be connected at minimum to make this fan controller work. Thanks.
