  1. I have been a very happy customer for several years now of a HAF 932 case. The side fan has gotten increasingly louder to the point that it needs to be replaced. Is there a standard replacement fan sold by coolermaster or another brand folks would recommend? The specs are: Side: 230 x 30 mm standard fan x 1 / 700 rpm / 19 dBA (supports 120 mm fan x 4) I can find a lot of 200mm fans online, but am not sure if they would fit the case for screwing in. Also, do you recommend a CM replacement or another brand? Thank you in advance for any help.
  2. i just recently bought and installed a coolermaster masterliquid240l and connected it all up to the pc and found that the fans are extremely loud, like really loud. I have tried going into the BIOS and changing the fan speeds there but nothing turned them down. this very annoying seeing as some people said in the reviews on amazon saying that the fans were really quiet, did i do something wrong? i just followed the manual, thats all.
  3. Hello there I want to buy new case fans since one of my fans came faulty and doesn't work but I wanted to buy new ones anyway but I don't Understand how to remove the pre installed RGB fans on the front
  4. I recently bought a 3-pack of the MF120R-ARGB fans, planning on hooking them up to the addressable RGB header on my ASRock B450 Fatal1ty Gaming K4 motherboard and using the ASRock software to control the lighting settings. However, the lighting does not respond to any input that I put into the RGB settings in the software. This surprises me, as on both on the Cooler Master page of the product and the retailer page where I bought it, ASRock software is explicitly outlined as compatible with the ARGB lighting of these fans. Besides not responding to my software, the fans work perfectly fine--they respond to the included controller's light settings, and adjust their speeds according to my PWM settings. I'm just not sure why the fans aren't following the software settings. Everything is plugged in and installed as dictated in the manual. When I press the button on the manual controller that tells the fans to accept motherboard-fed lighting instructions, the lights just turn off and stay off, no matter what I do in the software. Can anyone point me in the right direction, so that I can get my lighting working properly? Or is there somehow something else I may be missing entirely? Thanks. The product page on the Cooler Master site for the fans is: http://www.coolermaster.com/cooling/case-fan/masterfan-mf120r-argb-3in1/ The Amazon page where I bought the fans from: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GSRJJTQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  5. Recently built a system with the Maker 5 case. I have the three chassis fans plugged into the controller on the backside of the case and have the 2/4 molex power cable connected, however, none of the fans are running. I've tested all the fans by plugging them directly into fan power cables and they run fine, but no luck on the controller. The front panel USB 2.0 header is not currently connected as my motherboard only has one of these headers and it's needed for my H110i AIO cooler. I'm wondering if that's the issue and the controller requires that USB somehow. Is there something else I'm missing and does anyone know exactly what needs to be connected at minimum to make this fan controller work. Thanks.
  6. When I first turned on my PC the lights came on and I could control the color via MSI mystic light but it slowly faded out and now there is no light at all. I have made sure everything is plugged in and in the right place, I'm just wondering if I've missed anything or the fans are just bad. My motherboard is the MSI X470 Gaming Pro.

    Mirage effect

Hi. Got the ML240R running on a X470 Ultra Gaming. Got a mf120r rgb extra. On the argb controller there is one port and splitter for the mirage effect. This is working perfecly with the RGB fan Can i split this to apply to all the fans incl the argb ones on the cooler Are there 3 way splitter for this? Thanks in advance
  8. My 200mm case fans that came preinstalled on my H500P case have the wrong colors when I use them with my ASUS Aura software (red is green and turquoise is purple, however blue and yellow work). I have switched around the cables multiple times with no luck. If anyone has a solution, please respond and help. *UPDATE* I got it working after I flashed a new BIOS to my motherboard
  9. Hello, I would like to know if the fans of the MasterLiquid ML240L are compatible with the wireless RGB controller, or if I must use the controller included. If someone answer me (unlike the support ), I have some other questions. Thank you
  10. I've just completed my first PC build using the MC 500mt as the case. There's a control box on the back for the fans and the rgb lighting included with the case. I cannot figure out the wiring for this as none of the fans or the rgb panel inside the case are working. When I figured out that software was also required I installed it only to receive a message to "Plug in your CM device to get started. The instructions that came with the case are useless or I'm just too new at this. I assumed the "controller" would be set to go but I'm guessing that additional wiring is required. Fans are plugged in, rgb light panel is plugged in, there's one pin plug in the bottom left side and one connector on the bottom right without anything plugged into it. Is that suppose to be connected somewhere somehow? Thanks for any help. Guessing it's something simple. Better documentation Cooler Master please!
  11. I recently purchased a single MasterFan Pro 120 mm, as I liked the RGB aspect. On the box it says it is compatible with the Asus Aura Sync program. But, I have both the RGB header and fan wires plugged in, and the Aura Sync program does not detect the fan. It is currently displaying a dim red color. How do I get Aura Sync to detect the fan lights?
  12. Hello! I have Cooler Master MasterBox Lite 5 RGB. I have a problem with my RGB fans. My RGB fans not showing Red color when I select Red color from my motherboards software or bios it turns off the RGB leds. only 3 colors are showing Blue, Green n Light Blue.
  13. So I got a master case H500P and the Front RGB fans are stuck on blue! When i use Asus Aura(which is compatible with all my other RGB stuff) to change it to red, it turns everything red, as it should, except for the fans, they just turn to a purplish hue, but if i set it to any other color, the fans are blue! I've made sure they're plugged in correctly(Arrow to Arrow) and i cant figure it out, i just dropped $1300 on this rig and it's bothering the heck out of me!!!!
  14. i bought a new Cooler Master MasterBox Pro 5 RGB .. but when im trying to collecting things all was good just the 3 RGB LED Fans i didn't find how to connect it to mother board (GIGABYTE GA-AB350-Gaming) the 4 pins of fans was male and the 4 pins in mother board was also male so i can't install it .. what should i do? + i didn't found a female splitter or somthing to solve it.. the picture here in cataluge shows that it should be a female spillter to both of sides ( fans + motherboard ) but it's not included with my case??
  15. My fans are connected directly to my z370 aorus ultra gaming but they don't show up in RGB fusion and I have no idea how to control them.
  16. Hi everyone, according to the manual, the HAF 922 is supposed to take a 200mm fan. But I cannot see how it is possible to fit one there. There are no mounting holes that fit, and the fan is too wide. looks like it will take 2x120mm, though. Is that an error in the manual, or am I missing something? thanks
  17. So I just got the HAF XB EVO case and moved my pc into it and I now find myself contemplating which fans to put in it. And looking at fans there is a ton of factors to choose from and I can't find any info on the stock fans to know what would be an upgrade or downgrade. The case informations specifies two extraflow 120mm case fans, but when you go to cooler master's extraflow 120mm case fans they are pwm with 4 pins, but the ones in my case are 3 pin, not pwm, so not an extraflow 120mm fan, can anybody tell me what the specs are on this fan so I don't replace them with something worse please as I want to put all pwm fans in my case with a fan controller. I can't send a support ticket or search the FAQs, website is pretty bad.
  18. One of my fans on my MasterBox Lite 5 RGB fans stopped working, I tried another cord to see if that was the problem but it wasn't how do you take out the fan to replace it with another one?
  19. My ROG MAXIMUS X HERO mother board has 3 ports: AIO PUMP, CPU OPT, AND CPU FAN. The CPU OPT and CPU FAN have the same pin out configurations I know the pump connect goes into the AIO PUMP port. My question is can I plug one fan into the CUP OPT and one fan into the CPU FAN and not use the splitter? Will that mess up the fan control balance between the two? Do I have to do anything in the fan control bios software to keep them in sync or does it matter? Or Must I use the splitter and just the fan port? Thank you, Bill
  20. I am rather confused regarding what is considered "high static pressure" fans. The Masterfan Pro 120 Air Pressure RGB Fan has a rating of 1.45 +/- 10%. The Masterfan Pro has a low of 1.45 and a top of 4.6 Are the two fans being measured the same way? Why does RGB kill static pressure?
  21. My latest build is a Ryzen gaming/streaming/development build in this little case, the Masterbox Lite 3.1. The case sadly only comes with one case fan so I bought two static pressure fans from a well-known line and put them on my intake end to make the most of the small intake slits on the top and bottom of the front of this case. They worked great! Plenty of cool air quietly trickling in. The problem was the exhaust fan could never get hot air OUT fast enough during high load uses. I chalked this up to the un-identifiable and annoyingly rattly stock fan as just not being up to task and replaced it with an air flow fan from the same series as the intake fans. Slightly better at best! Then I found the real problem: the exhaust grill pattern on the back of the case ends a bit shy of where it should extend to accommodate the perimeter of a 120mm fan. The vast majority of air a fan pushes comes out as a ring at the very edges, and putting my hand on the intake side of the fan revealed that this ring of air was being REFLECTED BACK INTO THE CASE! My solution for now is mounting the fan on the exterior of the case and temps have dropped greatly at the expense of looking pretty weird and sound not being as dampened. I just wanted to post this here for potential buyers to know about this issue as it will require some modding to make the air flow work as intended in this case. Alternatively you could buy a smaller fan but all the great quality and selection is firmly in the 120mm range. As you can see in the close-up photo, the perimeter of the fan is mostly blocked on all sides! Mounting the fan outside solves this issue since it can create a vacuum to suck the air out without the ring of exhaust being blocked. I hope CM addresses this issue before manufacturing more of these as I'll be taking a drill to my new case to correct this, most likely.
  22. I really thought these were going to be the best fans on the market. Theyre a combination of a good coolermaster fan reminiscent of the xtraflo fan from the 212 evo, and RGB LEDS which can never go wrong. The big issue is noise. These things sound like a lawnmower. The noise gets worse at higher rpms and much better at lower rpms so its not bearing noise, its a form of coil whine. Theres also control issues such as the fan not even going to 0 rpms on pwm, and if you use voltage, the leds turn off as you lower the voltage. The PCB is too bloated. The design has 4 super bright leds, a pwm mosfet, probably some led mosfets, 4 giant radial coils, an overcomplicated driver and finally, the leds are powered off of the fan header instead of the simpler solution of just using RGB power.
  23. Hello you cooler fellas and gals, this would be my first post and in good tradition it comes with a question attached. So lets hope you guys can answer or point in right direction, (no, not the exit door ) So I have a Asus TUF Mark 1, this motherboard has a 1x dedicated pump 4 pin header and the 2x 4pin CPU fans Now it would be my hope, that I could connect the MasterLiquid Pro 240 pump to this dedicated pump header and the fans to the 4 pin fans CPU1 and CPU2. Would that be a feasible and acceptable setup? ill admit Im not familiar with the MasterLiquid Pro 240 or liquid cooling in general, but much research has been done on this lately. Ive read the manuals and searched around but maybe Ive missed something. Im replacing a Corsair Hydro H100i V2 with this MasterLiquid Pro 240, Corsair has gone on the naughty list, and wont even get a piece of coal, but will definitely get the boot... soon. So here is hoping.
  24. Hi everybody! I have put together my first build just yesterday. The nepton 240m is connected to a Gigabyte z170x Gaming 7 mobo. And the case is NZXT n450, it has it's own PWM hub. The question is my Nepton connected to the mobo correctly? The setup is as following: - nepton pump is connected to "CPU_FAN" connection - nepton fans are connected to the NZXT PWM hub - the NZXT PMW hub is connected to "CPU_OPT" connection Any idea if this is ok?? Because so far I get very weird readings of fan speeds with CPUz and Gigabyte EZtune. It always says "CPU_FAN" 2800RPM & "CPU_OPT" 400RPM This can't be right, can it? I mean the pump can't reach 2800? The whole setup makes almost no noise btw, including no pump sounds. But all the fans are spinning. I've attached a screenshot. Does anybody know if this looks right or not? Don't want to fry my nepton. Thanks!
  25. I've just completed a new build with a Maker 5 case and am having a few issues with the front panel. I also have a question about fan control. The only LEDs that are lit are power and fan (I assume the "gear" shaped LED on the left end is power). The HDD activity LED jumper is plugged into the MB, but the LED does not light during activity. None of the USB port LEDs are lit, although the ports are working. What can you suggest as a possible problem with the LEDs? I am using the LED/fan control unit that came with the Maker 5. It works, but I'm not sure how this interacts with the L/H fan speed button on the front panel. Is there any doc on this LED/fan control unit? This is a great case. Id just like to get these few issues sorted out. Thanks for any assistance,
