  1. Hey yall. My brother just gave me his used storm keyboard and mouse. I'm no means an expert on things like this, but I know the mouse isnt behaving how it should. It works completely, lights, dpi, scroll wheel, clicking, side buttons... except the cursor doesnt move at all. I can click and manipulate with it so long as I don't have to move the cursor to do so. When I first plugged it in, it moved, but about ten seconds later it stopped and hasn't worked since, haha. I know the mouse works with my computer because my brother has the same computer and it worked fine there. Mine's in better chape than his. No USB ports are messed up and the mouse is operational except for the static cursor.
  2. I purchased this keyboard and mouse. But I am not sure how to configure the special buttons on them. For instance, the volume buttons on the upper right of the keyboard, the play/stop/forward/rewind buttons on the top left of the keyboard, or the buttons on the left side of the mouse. I am running Windows 10. Do I have to install one of the MasterKeys installer to configure these keys? Or is that only for LED light configuration? If so, where do I get the correct installer for my particular keyboard and mouse.
  3. CM Devastator II mouse doesn't work with my iMac late 2015 (macOS Sierra ver 10.12.5). Recently I bought a keyboard + mouse set: Cooler Master Devastator II and keyboard works fine, but mouse not. When I put mouse into usb socket mouse lights are on but nothing more happens. Is there any way to use this mouse on iMac, any drivers, or tool which can make this mouse available on iMac. Thanks up front.
  4. backlighting not working

just got my devastator 2 in today, and the backlighting on the keyboard doesnt work, this actually makes the keyboard a :) to use in general so if could get it to work without having to wait for a new keyboard thatd be ideal. I checked the drivers and they are from 2006, so thats probably an issue regarding windows 10 and your 11 year old software. any help on how to fix this would be awesome, love the keyboard and mouse just need it to work.
  5. I'm new to using a CMStorm keyboard/mouse and am trying to find out how I can have the LEDs on my Devastator keyboard light automatically when the PC is started or woken up. Right now I have to light the keyboard LEDs using Shift-ScrLock. When the PC sleeps (Windows 10), the keyboard LEDs go out. The LEDs on my Devastator mouse seem to stay on at all times, including when the PC sleeps. I'd like both (Keyboard/mouse) to light automatically when the PC is started or woken and go out when it sleeps. Possible? Thanks for any suggestions.

When i first plugged the mouse in my computer it worked for like half a second, but then it stopped working. So i try a another pc and there it dit the same thing. A day later i booted my pc up and the mouse worked. The i switched the mouse to the motherboard USB and then it didn't work anymore. Since then i haven't got it working. I got windows 10. Please help me! Sorry for my bad grammar, i'm dutch...
  8. I just bought the CM Devastator combo and my y key is lower than the rest, i want to fix it but i don't know how to do it properly. its a really minor detail but it seriously bothers me when i look at it. I bought it at memory express, should i return it, try to fix it, or just ignore it?
  9. Help! Please!

So i recently bought the CM Storm Devastator combo and the mouse works fine. The keyboard has problems. I plugged it in and it worked for the first time. But now whenever i plug it into my actual gaming computer it doesnt work. I am aware of the Scroll Lock/LED on/off button and whenever i press that it does not turn on. I plug it in and the PC says installing device drivers and then it tells me it does not recognize the device and it says driver install failed. When i do plug it in it turns on for 1/2 second and turns off. (using windows 7 64 bit)
  10. What is the polling rate for the keyboard and the mouse on the Cooler Master CM Storm Devastator - mouse/keyboard package?
  11. I recently just bought the CM Storm Devastator and I noticed that there is no software to go along with it to change the DPI, etc. Am I missing something or is there no software. P.S. I mentioned changing the DPI, how do you do that?
  12. WINDOWS 7, 8 & 8.1 > Devastator Backlight Doesn't Turn Off at Shutdown Note: BIOS settings, options and choice of words can be different. Enter the BIOS search for Advanced Controls > Advanced Power Management or Power Management > Enable EuP Ready option. Enter the BIOS search for Advanced Controls > Advanced Power Management > Enable ErP Support or ErP option or ErP Ready. [brand specific: Gigabyte]. No progress? Clear the CMOS, and try the steps above once more. Read your motherboard user manual to find out if there are any specific bios settings or jumper settings that deal specifically with USB power settings. Easy fix: flip the PSU power switch 'OFF'. (Not actually a fix but a temporarily option). The USB power options after shutdown are mainly for USB charging devices (Smartphones or Tablets, etc.) MAC OS X > CM Storm Devastator Backlight on MAC OS X Note: This is an unsupported work-around, but suggested for MAC OS X users. Download the HID LED Test tool kit: https://developer.apple.com/library/mac/samplecode/HID_LED_test_tool/Introduction/Intro.html Open the folder 'Build'. From 'Build' open up the 'Release' folder. Once 'Release' is opened, it will pop-up an output. The Devastator will start cycling and blinking. Once all the keys are lit up hit 'Ctrl + C' to terminate the terminal. The Devastator backlight should work now. (Credits: ninjasiat, and others on the Apple forums). LINUX [under construction]
