  1. There doesn't seem to be much customization options with the ms cycle times and I'm limited to 12ms. I'd like something faster such as 6ms and I would like to customize the delay. I'm using cmstorm havoc software.
  2. Hi! So I've had this keyboard for a few years and up until recently I hadn't tried to use to macro buttons. Now that I have, Windows 10 doesn't seem to like the CM Trigger app at all. It won't open and disables the keyboard until the app crashes and is closed. This also happens with the reset tool. Keyboards shouldn't get out dated like this, what can I do to fix this? I don't want to go out to drop 150+ on another keyboard (will be of another brand if I have to as this is an awful experience for a keyboard in perfect condition, signed by all original TSM after I first bought it and I'd rather not lose it) (Dyrus, wild turtle, regi and so on..)
  3. Hi, I recently bought the Quickfire XTI in Blue switches. As I was messing around with the backlight settings, I noticed I was only allow to go through 3 of the 5 light modes. Static, Breathing, and ActivLight on touch. I was expecting to be able to use the Colorwave and/or Cross mode. Does anyone have a solution to this??? If so PLEASE help!! Alfred
  4. I have verified that its the keyboard causing my computer to crash as it doesn't happen with this other one i have plugged in. This seems like a rather weird glitch, and it is quite annoying.. After about 10 to 20 minutes of playing a game whether it be H1Z1 or CSGO, the sound will loop and my computer fans will turn on full blast and the screen will go black, the only way to restart is to hold the power button. My specs are as follows: asus z-87k 8gb corsair vengence i5 4670k @4.2ghz GTX 770 ACX SC Corsair 550vs Windows 10
  5. Hello everyone, Feel free to share your Xornet II experience, pictures and gaming moments! The first thing that I did with my Xornet II: I made photos in the garden. The first game I played with my Xornet II: Team Fortress 2 as a sniper. Yes... I know it's a bit 'old school', but still a lot of fun with friends. My favorite Team Fortress 2 map? cp_orange_x3 = headshot time. Lately I've been playing Fallout 4 and Call of Duty: Black Ops III. What settings do I prefer? Most of the time around 750 - 1000 DPI / Low LOD (all games, especially when playing FPS). In Windows I use 1600 DPI. Cheers, Pim
  6. Hello everyone, I noticed that when using the "Default Profile" the led colors of the mouse change with each DPI setting change (Off, Red, Green, Blue). However when setting up my own custom profiles, I cannot duplicate this effect (I seem to only get 1 led color setting that applies to all DPI levels), so I was wondering if this is even possible or if I'm just using the software incorrectly. Any ideas are appreciated thank you for reading. -I'm using the Recon with the most up to date software.
  7. I just bought the CM Devastator combo and my y key is lower than the rest, i want to fix it but i don't know how to do it properly. its a really minor detail but it seriously bothers me when i look at it. I bought it at memory express, should i return it, try to fix it, or just ignore it?
  8. Dear CM Community, Computex is here! We proudly present to you our new logo! Whatever Your Make, Make It Yours. Make It Cooler Master. New product announcements: MasterCase 5 & MasterCase Pro 5 MasterCase 5 & MasterCase Pro 5 Cooler Master Launches MasterCase - World’s First Mid-Sized Modular Tower with Exterior Expandability. Inspired by our Revolutionary Concept Case - The MasterConcept MasterCase and MasterConcept Pioneer FreeForm™ Modular System COMPUTEX’15, June 2, Taipei – Cooler Master is excited to announce the launch of the MasterCase, the world’s first mid-sized modular tower with exterior expandability. The MasterCase heralds a new family of cases that offer unparalleled control over form and function. It draws inspiration from the MasterConcept, a revolutionary concept case developed at Cooler Master Headquarters in Taipei. “The MasterConcept represents a vision that every person’s PC case should be unique, and is a first step in a fundamental reimagining of our relationship with our fans and supporters,” said PS Tang, Vice President, Cooler Master. “Inspired by the MasterConcept’s revolutionary approach to interior and exterior modularity, the MasterCase represents the crest of this new wave of case technology.” Cooler Master’s FreeForm™ Modular System The MasterConcept and MasterCase break new ground in the way PCs are designed, made, bought and used. Fundamental to this reimagining is FreeForm™. Cooler Master wants users to have absolute control over how their case looks and functions. So FreeForm provides options to adjust the case exterior via the replacement of panels and doors, while also offering unparalleled flexibility for a mid-sized case in terms of interior layout. Computex 2015 will see Cooler Master debut the MasterCase 5, a 460mm-tall modular tower that comes in three distinct iterations: MasterCase 5, MasterCase Pro 5 and MasterCase Maker 5. Users can choose from the MasterCase 5’s dual top handles and standard door, the MasterCase Pro 5’s elevated mesh top cover, or the sleek lines, solid top cover and brooding, open-vent front door of the MasterCase Maker 5. In the MasterCase, FreeForm allows a single case to support a host of different configurations, enabling users to upgrade rather than replace their case and system. Through a unique clip-and click panel, FreeForm also lets users vertically adjust or entirely remove drive cages, allowing for multiple system configurations like home servers, water-cooled workstations, or gaming rigs with dual-slot extra-long graphics cards.
  9. Hello everyone, I made a video on how to record a macro for a Cooler Master Storm Gaming mouse. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask! (only related questions about macros). Cheers, Cooler Master Representative Pim
  10. I have never used a mechanical keyboard before, so please give me some recomendations based on my preferences: _red switches? (75% gaming, 25% typing) _TKL _No LED My two candidates are the CM Storm Quick Fire Stealth and the CM Storm Quick Fire Rapid. And to my understanding, the only difference b/w the 2 of them is the location of the print on the keycaps correct? If so why is the QFR a bit more expensive than the QFS (about $5.00 difference on the cmstore-usa)? EDIT: I just checked cmstore-usa again, and noticed both models are out of stock. Are they discontinued? If not then when will they get restock? Thanks in advance
  11. CMStorm Mizar

I'm trying to get running with my new Mizar mouse and have run into a problem with a simple reprogramming of the buttons for Battlefield. I've changed the forward side button to register a key press 'F' and the back side button to register key press '1' (this is how I have my old mouse programmed.) In the game, I have to press the button multiple times (3-4) to get it to register the key press (not good when your out of bullets and trying to knife your opponent ) In the desktop using the normal back/forward buttons in the browser, it works perfectly. I'm making an assumption that is software related to the fact that I'm trying to get the mouse replicate a key press instead of a mouse button press. Anyone else noticed this behavior? PS: I'm using the latest firmware and software from the CM site.

  13. WINDOWS 7, 8 & 8.1 > Devastator Backlight Doesn't Turn Off at Shutdown Note: BIOS settings, options and choice of words can be different. Enter the BIOS search for Advanced Controls > Advanced Power Management or Power Management > Enable EuP Ready option. Enter the BIOS search for Advanced Controls > Advanced Power Management > Enable ErP Support or ErP option or ErP Ready. [brand specific: Gigabyte]. No progress? Clear the CMOS, and try the steps above once more. Read your motherboard user manual to find out if there are any specific bios settings or jumper settings that deal specifically with USB power settings. Easy fix: flip the PSU power switch 'OFF'. (Not actually a fix but a temporarily option). The USB power options after shutdown are mainly for USB charging devices (Smartphones or Tablets, etc.) MAC OS X > CM Storm Devastator Backlight on MAC OS X Note: This is an unsupported work-around, but suggested for MAC OS X users. Download the HID LED Test tool kit: https://developer.apple.com/library/mac/samplecode/HID_LED_test_tool/Introduction/Intro.html Open the folder 'Build'. From 'Build' open up the 'Release' folder. Once 'Release' is opened, it will pop-up an output. The Devastator will start cycling and blinking. Once all the keys are lit up hit 'Ctrl + C' to terminate the terminal. The Devastator backlight should work now. (Credits: ninjasiat, and others on the Apple forums). LINUX [under construction]
