  1. Hello every1 ! have bought this great cooler 2 years ago and have enjoyed it since ! i just switched to the oven of intel! the famous 7700K ! (thanks to Ryzen to have down the second-hand prices of this kabylake of something like 60€ .. :p) So, out of warranties for me, i assume to play with it and to made it hot a bit ! with the original (bs) paste of intel, at 4,8 Ghz stable, the cores warm up around 96°C .... grrr sound likes the limit to keep a decent "life length" >> already a nice performance from the 412S ... the cpu must consumes something like 150W but it is time for me to uncaps the IHS to reach 5 Ghz !!! there is the point, of my really important question about 412S ... the base of pipes is given as Nickel-plated copper's but i can see the pipes are fixed all together, by an aluminium shape ! AND, to use the best thermal paste, the famous conductonaut ... i am asking if the 412S contact surface with the CPU is available of this paste which must not be used with aluminium !!! (but is ok with cooper and nickel so) Because i am certain to use this paste between the cpu and the IHS ... and i consider this is logic to use it also between the IHS and the 412S !! but only if it really possible ... if not = using kryonaut paste, which is seven times less efficient Got it! >>> thank s a lot for your feedback !
