  1. Hello, I'm building a home PC for work (photography, video editing) and gaming, some times. Initially I was planning to use the i7-8700(k) and had good advise to use the Hyper 212 so I bought the black edition. But 8700k is geeting pricy, closer to 9700K and hard to find. So I decided to go directly to i9-9900K. I know, I know, I should have decided to CPU prior to the cooling now I'm wondering whether Hyper 212 would be enough or it's better to get it back and replace to a water cooller as H115i pro or any other. Any advise, please? my build is: Motherboard: Gigabyte M Gaming Z390, processor i9-9900K Power supply: CM MWE 650W Gold Cabinet: NZXT H500 Video Card: Radeon RX 590 many thanks
  2. i had pc case size: 235mm x 438mm x 433mm (t1g pro armagedon) xan i fit this hyper 212 on this case?? sory for my bad english
  3. A few years back, I purchased a CM Hyper 212 Plus (RR-B10-212P-GP) to cool my Core i7-920 in a Gigabyte LGA1336 MOBO. Worked well since I built the PC. Upgrading now from Windows 7 to Windows 10 which is requiring me to upgrade MOBO, CPU, RAM, etc. I would like to reuse the RR-B10-212P-GP cooler on an ASUS Z390 series MOBO with the LGA 1151 socket and a Core i5-9600k It looks like it should fit as the 1366 and 1151 are grouped in the same cooler-MOBO groups today and don't think the 1151 was introduced yet when the cooler specs for the 1366 were initially printed. Anyone know if it will work? Any new mounting hardware needed? P/N if known?
  4. i have a cooler master hyper 212 rgb cooler than came with one fan i want to buy a 2nd rgb fan for a pus pul config but cannot find any retailers that sell the fan i am canadian so any canadian sites would be preferred but anything help in general wil help i searched the cooler master store and there's nothing
  5. I'm trying to put in a coolermaster 212 rgb black on an LGA1151 board (Asrock Z390 Pro4). I'm having trouble with the backplate mount. I followed the directions but realized that the support mount for the cooler only fits through the holes when the tabs are in a position other than what is said to be the correct one in the manual. Basically, putting the tabs in the LGA115X position doesn't work. The tabs in the LGA2066/2011-v3/2011/1366 position are what fit. It's an LGA1151 board, though. Am I fine just having it fit and going from there or am I dealing with some sort of machining issue that I'll have to resolve later on? I just want to know before I start putting on thermal paste and trying to mount the heatsink. The brackets also are supposed to go off of socket type with different positions for each type. If I were just doing it without the instructions, I'd just put everything in the configuration that has everything fit where they're seemingly supposed to go.
  6. Hey there everyone, Quick question - is the thermal paste that's included with the Hyper 212 EVO electrically conductive? Thanks, Richard
  7. At some point between buying the Hyper 212 Evo and now I have lost a pair of the plastic fan clips for my cooler. This is because I was only originally using 1 CPU fan. I recently received a another one for Christmas and have only just realised that I'm missing a pair of the clips. Is there anywhere I can buy a new set? Thanks!
