  1. Last week, we setup new system that includes 3 SF120R as case fan with stock MSI ARGB back fan comes with case. Everything was fine until i install Aura 1.07.79 application with Armoury Crate at the same time. After this, one of SF120R's leds started to appearing random colors, they are not synchronizing. They are not doing effects that what i adjusted. I'll leave the videos of these below but i don't have any idea what im experiencing now. How could a confliction between softwares damage hardware? At the same time im experiencing a high pitch sound from PSU when system is off and strange sounds while system starts and goes off. I opened a post at ROG Forum. They said me to try clearing cmos and install clean windows 10. I did them, cleared the cmos successfully. Installed Windows 10 cleanly and installed only Aura application that they suggested. It didn't fixed anything. Still problem persists. Tried for Masterplus+ application and it gave ''... compatibility.'' error, didn't worked. I sent an e-mail to Cooler Master support address, they didn't answered yet. Any suggestion? Idea? 2. Hi, I'm setting up a PC using a MasterBox MB530P case, and I've done it so far by not connecting my ARGB fans to the motherboard and instead just using the included ARGB controller and plugging the SATA and molex power cables into my PSU. This gets my fans to spin in a consistent rainbow pattern at least. My motherboard is a Gigabyte X570 UD AMD which does have a 4 pin LED_C1 (RGB LED Strip Header) which the manual says can be used to connect a standard 5050 RGB LED Strip (12V/G/R/B) with maximum power rating of 2A (12V). The cable coming out of the 2 to 3 ARGB splitter included for the 3 fans though is a 3 pin. Would I be able to connect the 3 pin ARGB cable to the RGB LED Strip Header? I assume not because there would be no signal passed for fan speed, but I was just wondering in case they could be controlled. Thank you! Best, James
  3. Hello I have problem with my ARGB. I bought new pc and downloaded dragon center for ARGB controll and the software cannot see the fans, when i was trying to solve it I connected cooler master controler that was included with the cooler and half of the fans didn't light up. And when I connected ARGB connectors back to the motherboard, dragon center couldn't even see the RAM sticks so only my GPU is controllable. I have Cooler master TD500 mesch, Cooler master masterliquid ML240R RGB. 5 Cooler master ARGB fans and the pump RGB are connected with the motherboard via ARGB splitters that were included with the case and the cooler. rest of the secs: MSI X570 unify AMD ryzen 5 3600X MSI RTX 2080 super gaming X trio RAM: G Skill Trident Z neo
  4. Hi all, So I have plan for the following fan in my system with an Aorus X470 Gaming 7 motherboard 2x MasterFan MF120ARGB 3 in one (6 fans in total) 1x MasterFan MF140 ARGB 1x MasterFan MF140 RGB The 140mm fan will be the standalone and plug straight into the mobo. That aside I am struggling to figure out the arrangement for the remaining 7 fans. I am considering the two options below: Option 1: Using the small ARGB hub included in MF ARGB kit: The drawback of this is that it can only support up to 6 fans so the MF140 ARGB will have to be wired directly to the motherboard. I cannot use two controller as the Masterplus software does not support 2 hub at once Option 2: Using the bigger ARGB hub: I contact Cooler Master Rep and they said this will be released towards the end of the year as a standalone unit With this I can wired all my fans to one hub and control it from the MasterPLus software. The drawback is that I have to wait till some indefinite time in the future I have some questions as below: Which option should I go for? What cable is required to connect the controller to the motherboard through the micro usb header connection and where to buy it? I was searching for that everywhere and have yet to find an answer. Can I plug all 7 fans daisy chain to one small argb hub? what happen when I plug an RGB fan to an ARGB hub?
  5. Hey guys. I recently purchased the CoolerMaster MB 530P. Connecting the Adressable RGB fans with the reset button seems impossible to me. The are only 2 connectors for the I/O panel which is tge POWER SW and HDD LED. Is this correct? Isn't there supposed to be more?? POWER LED, RESET and the rest? My power button doesn't even light up and only 1 fan is lighting up in white, I have no RGB effects happening. The only connection I don't have connected at this point is the 3 pin 5v connector that is supposed to go to the motherboard, but as my motherboard only has a 4 pin 12v rgb header, I didn't connect it anywhere. Please help me resolve this issue.
  6. I'm just about wrapped up in building my PC, I only need to replace the cooler (which will be a ma410m) and get the (a)rgb sorted (power,data,n/a,ground), but I know not what hub to get for the lighting. The case I have is a mb530p which comes three pre-installed fan argb fans connected via splitter, and recently I've added 2xmf140s and a mf120 to top and rear (no lighting so far). I'll probably need a splitter for them two as the rear argb connector is too short. If so, that'll just be about 4 cables I need to connect (1(1x3) front splitter, 1(1x3) back splitter, and (hopefully just) two cpu fans). I've been looking around for some hubs to get for this but can't really decided due to a lack of reviews/information. I was going to get the Cooler Master Masterfan ARGB/PWM hub, but when I saw the motherboard header on the hub, I notice that it was a two pin connector on it so I don't know of whether to buy it or not as I' not sure if it's compatible with my mobo (b450 pro gaming carbon ac)(silly i know but like i said lack of information). another hub i'm looking at is the silverstone lsb02 which is pricier but may still be necessary. any other suggestions are most welcome. Sidenote: I plan on controlling the lighting and such via software (mystic light).
  7. Hi All, I just purchased these fans and I'm stuck. My fans light up, for the most part. I mean only a few of the LED's are working and I cant change the color. Mobo: B450 ADRUS Pro WiFi What I have done: Set everything up with the controller. Connections to Mobo Plugged in to SYS_FAN2 The fans are spinning. Plugged in LED_C LEDs light up, but not all working. Checked connections. Switch order of connections. Then updated controller firmware Fallowed instructions from firmware install (No Change) Then tried switching DLED_V_SW1 default (5v) I switched to 12v and still nothing. (No change) Then set DLED_V_SW1 back to 5v. (No change) Removed controller and connected to motherboard Plugged in to LED_C only (No change) Then plugged D_LED only (No change) Then unplugged all fans expect one (No change) Then repeated on other fans Installed MasterPlus Does not work with this controller What am I doing wrong. I thought this was plug and play. Note: Updated BIOS, chipset and drivers. New build, had to be done. Thanks. Update: if you have made it this far. Here is CM product replacement steps. Return needs approval Fine I get that Return Product Are you joking! I have to send you my fans. Now what go without a computer? How long is this going to take? Product Received Now you have my fans. How long does it take for you to look over the product? Replacement Shipped How long well it take to ship the new fans back? 5 to 130 days? Cooler Master why cant you just send the replacement product first? Then I will use the box you send me and send back the broken product. Customer Service: Ticket No: 23813 (Hello are you there?) I know that was a rant. Thank you
  8. I recently bought a Cooler Master SF120R ARGB case fan and an Addresable RGB LED small controller, because my mobo doesn't have a 3-pin ARGB header. I connected all the cables correctly, but the fan still isn't lighting up. I've been searching for hours on the forums, but I couldn't find anything! Any help would be greatly appreciated!
  9. Hi everyone, I am pretty new to all of this about A-RGB. Last PC I built was 12 years ago. I decided to make my new shinny battle station. I bought CM SL600M case, Asus Z390E mother board and 2 sets of MASTERFAN MF120R ARGB 3IN1. There was two fans already in case, but I decided not to combine them with some other kind of fans, so I decided to put all 6 A-RGB fans in case, and remove stock fans. I already found out that there will be a problem connecting both sets of A-RGB fans. First of all, there is some A-RGB controller which comes in set which I don't want to use (and I don't know exactly how to use it). And if I wanted to use, I cannot connect them both on motherboard. Therefore I decided to search the internet, but no use of that. I couldn't find any solution for my problem. The only thing I found is that there is some kind of hub called MASTERFAN ARGB AND PWM HUB, but could not find instructions for that, so I don't know how to use it with Asus Aura, not with CM software. I was left confused with how to connect it to my motherboard with 3 pins on motherboard and with 2 pins on hub side for A-RGB. If somebody has an idea how to connect 2 sets of MASTERFAN MF120R ARGB 3IN1 with Asus Z390E motherboard using Aura header and to tell me what more of equipment do I need (ex. splitter cables, hubs...), please let me know. I count on you guys!
  10. The fans are running but the rgb is not working on either of them. Everything is plugged in to the correct connectors. I have tried all the softwares but nothing happens. It is connected via micor usb, and if it isn`t the MasterPlus quits with compatibility error. When the argb led connector is connected i can only attach 1 fan to it but still nothing happens to any of the fans. I have a MSi x470 mobo which is compatible with the CM fans. It is frustrating quite much since i have been on plenty of forums for hours and no answers or solutions anywhere. I had high hopes for CM fans but I am thinking of sending them back.
  11. Hi, I recently bought a Masterbox MB530P and everything was fine, really cool box that include 3 aRGB fans (AB). Two days ago, the last fan's leds (on the frontal panel) suddenly stop working, I mean, the Aura sync couldn't change the color of that fan anymore, (only light white) so the first thing I did was restart my computer. It worked the first time, then the aRGB leds of the same fan stoped working again so I tried restarting, but that didn't fix the problem. Since that, I can't control the leds from that fan, it start to blink random colors and also the problem got worst bc I can't even control the leds of the other two fans. Sometimes, when I turn on my computer only 1 led from each fan works (in a color that I didn't choose). All happened suddenly, I didn't have any problem with my computer before of this and the fans spin and work great, the problem is just the lightning, other RGB components on my motherboard works great and all sincronized. The 3 argb fans are plugged right into the motherboard with the 3 to 1 splitter argb cable that came in the MB530P (Plugged in the "ADD GEN2_2" then changed to "ADD GEN2_1" 5v/3pin). I've tried changing the place where I plugged them to see if the problem was my motherboard, but didn't work.Tried to change the order of the cables on the splitter and nothing change. Looked if everything were plugged correctly and they are. Also try with other RGB fans that someone lended me and they work perfectly on my motherboard (didn't use the same splitter cable). Do I need to call for warranty and/or replace those fans? Is there any solution? Motherboard: X570 Rog Crosshair VIII Hero (Wi-Fi) Box: MB530P
  12. I bought a masterliquid ML240R RGB around a year ago and two months ago i started having problems with the led that would start having a sort of seizure every time i would chose a color cycle. The problem would sort of calm down when I chose a static color. Anyways i RMA'd it and i sent it to CM, but its been three weeks and i have no news on what happened. It sais on the RMA status they received it, but i have no idea what has happened and I've been waiting for around 3 weeks. I need my pc for school and i can't do anything right now for there seems to be no customer support on the CM account site. I'm confused and have no idea what to do, can somebody help, i need a cooler for my CPU and im dissapointed they haven't told me anything on what is going on with my cooler.
  13. Hello guys, let me cut to the chase. Why the "MASTERLIQUID ML240RS RGB" ( https://www.coolermaster.com/catalog/coolers/cpu-liquid-coolers/masterliquid-ml240rs-rgb#Downloads) doesn't have support to MasterPlus+ Software ( https://landing.coolermaster.com/pages/masterplus/#compatible-products ) nor ARGB LED Controller Firmware , like the similar "MASTERLIQUID ML240R RGB" ( https://www.coolermaster.com/catalog/coolers/cpu-liquid-coolers/masterliquid-ml240r-rgb/#Downloads ) that has all those things. Can anyone help me out, please!?
  14. Hello everyone I am planning to mount a PC with CM RGB, as I have been looking on internet I can't mount 2 CM controllers so the solution should be splitters. So, I make this topic to make sure my idea can work. There are 3 front fans (MasterBox MB530P) 2 front fans splitted = 1 connector for Controller The connector explained above splitted to the third front fan = 1+1 connector, total 2 Split those 2 splitted connectors making it a total of 1 connector to the controller 2 CPU fans splitted = 1 connector for controller, total 2 2 top fans splitted = 1 connector for controller, total 3 Rear fan, making it a total of 4. Can it work? I assume the splitted fans will work equally Thank you
  15. I recently bought a MasterLiquid ML240R RGB and it all installed perfectly. I have no problems with the cooling or noises. I installed the controller and it worked for like 2 min the turned off. I didn't short it or anything. When i plug it back in after disconnecting it, it turns off then goes to one light mode then completely shuts off again. Idk what to do weather I claim it on warranty or if i can get a replacement part. Any help would be amazing. Thanks

  18. Hi, I bought Cooler Master ML240R 7 months ago. My ARGB Controller stop working and I called Cooler Master Turkey technical service. They sent me a new controller and they were very interested, I am very grateful for this. I got new argb controller 3 days ago but it stopped working again. So I am thinking this problem is about latest firmware ?
  19. Hi, So I bought the Cooler master H500 case and I'm looking to upgrade the front 200mm case fans with ARGB ones, like the ones on the H500m. The problem that I'm having is I can't find them, so I'm wondering if I could order it from somewhere (I've checked Amazon, Newegg). The reason why is when all the lights sync up the front fan being regular RGB flash when all the others are doing the animations.
  20. Hello guys, can anyone tell me how to set my Cooler Master MA410M lighting to static color since I dont have an ARGB header on my Asus B450-F (For 2nd gen Ryzen) motherboard. How can I connect the Mini controller and make custom lighting profiles? Thanks
  21. Hi, How many fans/led trips/etc can be used by the built-in argb controller of the MB530P case? Cant find any reliable sources.
  22. Ok, so to start off, I'm livid. First, I noticed the obnoxiously loud fans that were included, but WHATEVER, change the fans. But NOW the RGB on the pump won't work, only works on the fans. Does anyone have a fix for this?
  23. Hey CM forum, Just wondering if anyone else who has the ML240R RGB liquid cooler (or the ML120R) has had issues with connecting the RGB cables to their motherboard? From what i can tell, due to the pin layout (like this where "O" is blank - XXOX) it wont fit either any RGB or RGBW header, but also it wont fit a standard digital LED or ARGB pin which has three pins in a row (XXX)? I know that these are addressable RGB fans and don't use the standard RGB headers, but the product says it is compatible with RGB Fusion and gigabyte motherboards. I'm just wondering how i can get it to be controlled by the motherboard and not the wired controller? Also, there is no information on how to connect up the ARGB wired controller (as its not on the website) and the included booklet is very basic. If the controller is connected to the MB via the USB cable, will that allow MB control? Grateful for any help from users or from CM?
  24. I have managed to get my ASRock RGB software to recognize my 3-pack of ARGB fans, and I can now change the colors and modes--for the most part. I have found another problem, though: some LEDs refuse to listen to the instructions that the software gives them, and they both keep to the breathing mode and stay their rainbow color. The pictures attached show what the fans look like when I've told them to be static white--the three rainbow-colored LEDs seen on each of them stay rainbow-colored, and keep breathing. The affected lights are also all in the same relative position on each fan (I accidentally installed the top fan in the wrong orientation, which is why the rainbow lights come out of the left rather than the right). I've flashed the software a couple of times now, just to see if that did the trick, but the lights stay unresponsive. Is there anything I can do to get all the lights working as they should?
  25. Hi, I recently purchased new hardware and I'm in progress with my build... However, I'm at a loss on how to connect the RGB lighting system ??? This is what I have: - MasterLiquid ML360R RGB (CPU cooler with the included ARGB Controller(with buttons and such...) - MasterFan Pro 140 AP RGB (3 fan pack with an included RGB Controller? (No buttons, just connectors) - Asus ROG CROSSHAIR VII HERO WiFi Motherboard (with all it's Fan headers, RGB connectors,...) Now how does this work together ???????? Do I now need to use the 2 controllers to drive the 3 fans on the CPU cooler and the additional 3 casefans? How do I hook this up? Anybody has an idea ??? Just had a further look in the Motherboard manual, and it seems I have 2 adressable RGB headers... So do I just hookup the 2 controllers in these 2 adressable RGB headers? Or can I hook it all to one controller and have the luxury of changing all colors via one controller??? Thanks, Nick
