  1. Hi, I'm in Canada. I ordered a master liquid pro 140 in January from newegg. After realizing that i needed the am4 bracket i ordered it from direct Canada (newegg dosn't carry it). direct Canada is, apparently, going out of business so i don't think i ever get it that way (lost 10$) . before the cooler master north America store site when down i tried to order it from their but their site but they wouldn't ship to Canada. after i figured out that I'll never get my direct canada order I contacted customer support on the phone and they suggested i create an account on fanzone and request the part that way. I did so, requested the part, and have been waiting for 5 days - my request still says "pending" which i assume means that they haven't even looked at it. At this point I've been waiting weeks and weeks and don't have any idea about a time line for getting this stupid bracket. I've been trying to get though on their Canada phone line but they arn't answering their phone anymore. I have created a support ticket to try to find out what is going on. No luck / no response. Does anybody know of any alternative sources for the kit that will ship to Canada? does anybody know what is going on at cooler master?!?!
  2. Hi, I have a Seidon 120M and I would like to buy an AM4 Socket Upgrade Kit. However, the only kit I found was compatible with the 120V only. So I was wondering if there is simply not an upgrade kit for the Seidon 120M. This is the kit I found both on the CM and NCIX website: https://www.ncix.com/detail/cooler-master-amd-socket-am4-8b-140006.htm Thanks.
  3. Hyper 212 Evo issues

Hey all, Have a quick question. Will a am4 x bracket for hyper 212 evo still work for an am3 build? My X bracket that came with it had a faulty screw and broke off in the standoff just whe it was about to be fully tightened. The other 3 worked out great, but the last one did this. I am just curious if the "AM4 upgrade" x bracket is pretty much the same one as what originally came with the hyper 212 evo. Thank you all!
  4. Brackets wanted

Hello to everybody, Please can anyone help. I recently bought a Asus x370 pro AM4 motherboard and a Ryzen 7 C.P.U. and to keep the processor cool a Masterliquid 240 pro. The information which came with the new cooler stated it was AM4 compatible , this is not true as the supplied brackets and fixings are not suitable for this motherboard. Any help with a supplier with the upgrade brackets would be appreciated . Regards Steve Varden
  5. problem installing hyper 212 evo am4

trying to install the hyper 212 evo on a asrock ab350m pro4 mobo. a-series amd processor. the included cm backplate doesn't line up at all, and the standoffs won't fit in the mobo backplate holes. can i install the cooler by screwing the x-bracket directly into the mobo backplate without the standoffs? at this point, that's the only way i can get anything to line up.
  6. Hyper 212 Evo AM3+ to AM4 Question

Greetings. I run an Nvidia/AMD system with an FX-8350 processor with a Hyper 212 Evo as my cooling solution. I plan to upgrade my system to Ryzen soon and in preparation for this I ordered the AM4 upgrade kit and received the product today. I noticed that there is no back mounting plate that comes with the kit. The 212 Evo comes with a back mounting plate for AM3+ and LGA boards. So my question is, Will I need the original back mounting plate for AM4 or just what comes with the upgrade kit?
  7. http://coolermaster.force.com/pkb/articles/en_US/FAQ/Hyper-212-LED-AMD-AM4-Compatibility/?q=212+led+am4&l=en_US&fs=Search&pn=1 This knowledge base article is completely WRONG!!! Cooler Master sells the new AM4 mounting bracket for Hyper 212 LED in China, which is 100% compatible with both old and new version of Hyper 212 LED heat sink. I got this recently. You guys lied !! Why can't CM provide this upgrade kit to current user in west ?
  8. Or for any CPU Cooler for that matter. I don't want to buy one if I don't know where I can get the Conversion Kit!
  9. I received a defective AM4 bracket whereby one of the two finger nuts Nuts did not have a thread inside so am unable to tighten the heatsink onto the motherboard. Does anyone know what size/standard the finger nut is so maybe I can go to the hardware store and see if they sell a similar size nut?

  12. Easy Hyper 212X AM4 mod

Greetings, got new Ryzen 1700X cpu, and Asus prime b350-plus Motherboard. Cause no stock cooler in "X" cpu-s package, purchased CM 212X (I knew there is still no - AMD AM4 UPGRADE KIT (RR-ACCY-AM4B-R1) here in east Europe, so there is few solution to mod with parts in 212X package. I use 2011 screws, make new thread with M4 tap in am4 backplate (I and II tap full, and only one, one and half spin with tap III, so it would be tight). Dissamble x clamp, and make small slot (between 2 already existing) with small sharp rasp for new place cooler thorn - used for non sliding, and rasp 4 little boobles since clamp no need to snap in usual places. Add some plastic shells for camuflage, hehe, and voila.
  13. Hi everyone, I'm building a PC with the new Ryzen microprocessors and i wanted to know if the upgrade kit will be available in Europe because i'm seeing that right now is Out Of Stock
  14. Hyper 212 am4

Hello all, so just purchased my first ever CM product... a hyper 212x dual fan for the new Ryzen chip. I was directed here from the website i purchased from but the link to order the adapter says "this product configuration is unavailable"? I know that my new cooler is compatible based on the info on the splash page here. Is the adapter out of stock? If it is any idea on when it'll be available again? Or is there a step or something i am missing in ordering? Thanks in advance for any info.
  15. Hi all, Recently I received all the components for my Ryzen 7 upgrade. One of the items is a Cooler Master Hyper 212 LED Turbo which according to the website, packaging and instructions is fully compatible with AM4. Well, I'm afraid to say that is just not the case. I've been spending hours today trying to make this cooler fit on my ASUS board to no avail. It seems the retention clip provided with the kit will in absolutely no way clip close on the motherboard's bracket unless I bend it in such way that it defeats the purpose or worse still, damage the CPU or motherboard. I've also Google'd like crazy with no results. Unfortunately the platform and cooler's too new for there be any helpful tips out on the web. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. The motherboard in question: ASUS Prime X370-Pro

  17. Intel and AMD’s announcements of their next-gen Kaby Lake and Ryzen processors might have some of you wondering whether you’ll be looking at a total overhaul of your cooling and power supplies to accommodate the new chipsets and motherboards. Cooler Master, a leader in design and manufacturing computer components and peripherals, has already prepared for the launch of these CPUs so you can apply your existing CPU coolers and power supplies to the upgraded chips. Power Supply Compatibility Here is a list of Cooler Master’s power supplies currently compatible with next generation processors: MasterWatt Maker Series V Series GM Series New GX Series Air and Liquid Cooling Compatibility Virtually all of Cooler Master’s liquid and air coolers are compatible with Intel Kaby Lake’s LGA 1151 socket. For AMD Ryzen’s AM4 socket, any models lacking native compatibility can be adapted using an upgrade kit. Check the LINK for compatible models, and contact your local retailer or tech support to check for the availability of upgrade kits.
  18. AM4 support?

So I am looking to begin upgrading some things in preparation for the launch of AMD next generation CPU later this year. One of the first things on my list is a liquid cooling system for my CPU. So my question is do we know if Cooler Master (or any other manufacturers) liquid coolers will be compatible with the AM4 socket?
