  1. I've seen this video. It recommends installing the unit outside of the case. That is what I'm trying to avoid. I don't want to disassemble my computer. Also, this guy should invest in a 1/4" drive socket set with an extension. It would make it very simple to tighten the nuts on the standoffs.

I recently purchased a V8 GTS. Does it matter which way I mount the heatsink? The reason I'm asking is, some installation videos I've seen, say to mount the heatsink on the mo/bo outside of the case. I don't want to go through the hassle of disassembling my computer. Looking at the computer through the side panel, can I mount the heatsink with the fans front and back or top and bottom? Or, does it make any difference? Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
  3. I have an Intel i7-5820K CPU mounted on a Gigabyte GA-X99-UD4 mo/bo. These are going into a new build. Have there been any issues with the CoolerMaster V8 GTS heatsink reported? Such as it being too heavy and cracking the mo/bo if it is mounted vertically. Or, not sufficiently keeping the CPU cool enough. These components are expensive as you know so, I want to be sure before I buy the heatsink. Thanks for any suggestions or discussions on this topic!
  4. I recently bought a V8GTS CPU cooler. The package came with a very sparse set of written installation instructions. I am going to mount the cooler on an Intel Core i7-5820K CPU. Since this CPU cost me a lot of money, I want to be sure I install it correctly. I've scoured the Coolermaster web page looking for an in-depth user manual. I could not find any manuals. Has anyone done one of these installations that could give me a more complete installation process? Thanks for any discussions or info!
