  1. Yeah, you're going to need to do that on the mouse software. Some models, like I own a CM STORM HAVOC, let you choose a single letter or key to be assigned to a certain button and if you wanted to get more complicated, assign it to a specific key in a specific mouse profile.

  2. Dude! That's awesome! I'm glad you were able to get it work. Now I'm not going to act like I know the technical engineering into what was fixed, but keep me posted it comes up again in the future. It's hard when situations like this occur and it's just 1 simple setting. Problem is, knowing what that setting is.

  3. Hi HelpforCM,

Check out our Knowledge Base through the CM Fanzone (account.coolermaster.com) Here are a few helpful links about Macros which the software is based heavily off of our Trigger series.

  4. Is it possible to have an LED command on a Windows machine?  I don't want to turn Scroll Lock on, but I do want the backlight.

That one we currently do not have a work around for. The LED command is bound to Scroll Lock within the windows keyboard driver. I'm sorry for the inconvenience and I'm not currently aware if anyone has had a chance to overcome this. Our new Octane keyboard is actually a response for folks who have issues, concerning the scroll lock key with some more bells and whistles added to it.

Check it out, if this may be an option for you. We will hopefully post for information on availability and pricing for this set within a few weeks. Keep on eye on our main page, facebook, twitter, reddit, etc. for news.

  5. Hi Knaif,

That's really difficult to do. Unless you tried disabling the key, but that would disable the entire function of the key (meaning it may not be able to be rebound in game). Another thing to do would be assigning a completely separate key you rarely use in day to day use, but rebind it to the function you need within the game's settings.

As for the language, the language is based off of the language package in Windows being used.

What language do you have windows set?

  6. Hi Warr08,

  7. I do not care about LEDs: there's no LED on the CM Storm Quick Fire XT !...

However, I *do* care about a *proper* layout of the characters on the keys, and the current layout is PLAIN BOGUS !

Please, fix this issue and send me the fixed keycaps.

Failure from your part to provide a proper solution will lead me to return the keyboard to the retailer and spread the word about your bogus keyboard layouts.

    Have a nice day.

    Hi Dinosaur,

This is the keycaps we use across the board for this keyboard which we use for multiple models. So we do not have alternative keycaps in different styles. If you wish, since they are Cherry MX keys, you can purchase different keycaps to suite your style from a variety of locations online like (http://techkeys.us/collections/keys) to suite your needs. I apologize we can't do more in the limitations that we have.

  8. All of our keyboards are designed to be used with Windows machines. Now, with that aside, sometimes the Keyboard may not work right out of the box depending on which Distro you're using. If you do some research on the internetz, there are quite a few individuals who have some different solutions for this keyboard to work with their distro. I'm not familiar with CentOS, yet, here is a link as an example for Fedora: http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?t=296728

So to reiterate, Cooler Master does not directly support linux or OSX, but as with the linux community, it'll take a bit of research to get it to work perfectly. FYI.

Let me know if you have any additional questions.

  9. Hello Chikchen,

Double check to see if anything changes if you switch USB ports and check if the issue arises on another computer. Yet, if the spacebar key as failed.

we can certainly help rectify this situation. You will need to RMA the product. I have provided the link below to our FanZone and an RMA instructional link. I would recommend having your serial number and a photo of your purchase receipt. Register your product and then you can apply for an RMA under MY PRODUCTS. We will approve your request. Once you receive your RMA number, write it clearly on the shipping box to help expedite the process.

  10. Hey Guys,

The numbers were located they way they were as the LEDs on the board are at the top of the keycap.
For them to be illuminated properly, the postioning was changed. I have provided an image of how an LED is normally installed on the CHERRY MX switch which correlates to the keycap design.

  11. Hello Jason,

I see you've attempted some troubleshooting with changing the surface area with your Inferno mouse. I have a few more things to check out before we rule that the sensor may be defective on the inferno.

    1. Check to upgrade the drivers from the product page to see if that may help rectify the issue.

    http://gaming.coolermaster.com/en/products/mice/inferno/

    2. See if the mouse has the same issues when it is used on another computer. If it works, make sure all previous/unused mouse/keyboard software is uninstalled and run a registry cleaner application to clear up left over files in the registry.

    3. If the mouse is still acting up, most likely it is a hardware issue and a bad sensor. We can help with that.

  12. Hi Lucas,

This is not normal operation but a few things can be to blame here.

First double check the surface you're using the mouse on. Depending on the surface, if it has a certain sheen, gloss, etc, this can affect the operation. Try using it on another surface, mousepad, or even a piece of notebook paper to help the sensor. Also, make sure to test the mouse on another USB port. Preferably, USB 2.0 for optimum operation.

Double check that you have the most up to date drivers on your mouse. You follow the link below to the Spawn Product page.

    http://gaming.coolermaster.com/en/products/mice/spawn/

Last, but not least, if you're still having issues, test the mouse on another computer. If the mouse works fine on another computer, uninstall the software, any previous mouse/keyboard software, and complete a registry cleanup (you can learn more online as there are a variety of software, including CCleaner.) or maybe even your USB drivers may need to uninstalled. Yet, If worse comes to worse, exchange the mouse with the original vendor or RMA it with us,
